Help with "_______" Part

First, before you even THINK about making a thread. Consider your options.
(idea inspired by "that one guy")

1) SEARCH the forums. There is a search bar on the main page, as well as in the main forum index.
2) LOOK AT THE STICKIES! In this section (Scooters) there are two particularly helpful ones. First, the Scooter Modding Super Thread, which can answer pretty much EVERY question you have ever had about your scooter. Second, there is the Wheel Review Thread, which compares and contrasts pretty much every aftermarket wheel.

If you think that your question cannot be answered by either of the previous things, post it in this thread.

If your question is good, and a real answer is given, it will be put in this main post. Any mod has the power to edit this post, so as long as information keeps flowing, this should become a fairly large list of questions and answers, and hopefully a good resource to find information.

Last, if this thread makes it onto page 2 or 3, and a bunch of new threads start popping up again asking the same old questions, they will just be deleted and this thread will be bumped. If no one is going to look at the sticky's from the start, this will help to redirect some of your attention's to them (or the search bar.)

Answers to Scooter Part Related Questions

Q: How do I hot glue wheels properly?
A: Use plenty of electrical tape (3 layers) or wax paper on the bottom.. It also helps a lot if you don't do it "in a rush." Wait for your gun to get the glue really hot so you can fill the entire part that you are working on at 1 time. When I used to hot glue my yaks if i waited between each one for the glue to heat up i would usually get 2 of the sections done really fast. Keep experimenting and find what works for you.

Q: What size tube is needed for the crossbar of a seat post?
A: 7/8" preferable but 1/2" will work.

Q: What is the real point for spacers between bearings?
A: Having the spacer creates a larger surface area, so that the axle isn't just touching the bearings, but also the spacer. Creating a larger surface area means that pressure is more evenly distributed between Bearings and spacer.

If you feel answers aren't complete, you can also post saying so. If more suggestions on past questions (so far the hot glue wheels question) get feedback and its good, I (or another mod), will add it to the original post.

Once we get lots of Q and A's the best way to search this would probably be "edit" ---> "find in this page" (IE) or "edit" ----> "find" (Firefox).

Make this work guys. :)

I think to keep an equal impact on the balls in your bearings, cuz when i don't ride spaces in there i break bearings, when i do, i don't break them.

bearing sparcer, make it so when you tighten the axle the bearing still sping fast, so if you dont have them you wheel will spin slow, and if you have then it is stronger and will spin faster. if you get what im saying.. it is like a shim for less presure.
