do you have the spacers in right. there is a certain way to put them in. the longer thinner end needs to go into the ruber part

i thought my wheel wasnt fitting once but i put the brake in too far and that means that the spacers arnt perfectly in line with the holes to put the axle through try moving the brake back a little?

This happened to me too, just keep trying and be quite forceful, also you have to be patient

I had this problem. Put your brake halfway in and have the black rubber part sticking out. Then put the wheel between your spacers. then smack the brake with a hammer or some wood until the spacers and wheel are aligned with the holes in the deck. Don't go to far cuz it's a pain to pull the break out.
