HOW DO U DO A FAIKE

Practice them off curbs in parking lots, Easiest and most common place I've found to practice them on.

When doing a Fakie off a curb, gradually push all your weight onto the curb until you hit a stop, this is the point that your momentum has to pivit backwards, at this time push all your weight away from the curb so that your body motion causes all the momentum you generated going up to the curb to roll backwards away from the curb. This will put you into doing your desired trick.

While in the procedure of doing a Fakie, do NOT move your front wheel rapidly, this will cause you to lose controll and your trick will be ruined. Insted keep your front wheel steady and keep your balance while riding backwards. Spot your ride-out point by looking over your shoulder before you slide out of it, be carefull of this, by doing this part you may lose balance several times before you get the hang of it.
After you spot your ride-away point turn your wheel the way you spin and ride away from it doing the following:

Slider - Slide your way around until your momentum is finally in the direction you were going, sometimes it help to give your front wheel a little hop when the rotation is complete

Pivit - When you've found your ride-away point, hit your break and lift your front wheel then put all your weight into spinning the scooter around.

Hop- keep yourself level and spring off the ground while doing a 180, land, then ride away smoothly

Hey I'm pretty good at discribing this sh*t.

The more you know~! *rainbow*

Edit: Just noticed the date, what the hell is wrong with you kster now I'm pissed off.

just do a regular 180 and when oyu start to go to the side dont put your body into it just steer the opposite way...its all in your steering it doesnt really take that much ballance

DO NOT hit your brake to pivot out, keep your feet as far away from the brake as possible because almost always no good can come from brakes+fakies.

And farmboy, sliders at high speeds are where it's at, just turn the bars and slide for a few seconds.

Do you do fast fakies? Because if so, when you hit your brake you'll die. The only time my brake helped me was on a manny to 180, and I was pivoting out going really slow and I used the brake. Only time ever, and if you know me, my riding is 45% manuals and 45%, so I have some experience with riding backwards.

Hmm... This trick is really just practice, practice, practice. It helped me to watch bmx videos with people doing manual to 180's, you could watch some of my videos aswell, since most of them have manny-180's in them. Pretty much just turn left (if you're gonna spin left) as you're manualling, then when you jump push the opposite way as much as possible. So push yourself to the right if you're spinning left. I can actually do alley oop manny-180's off curbs way better than normal ones, which is weird.

You can try to go up on a bank and stall, then pivot into a manual then 180 out to get the feel of it.

=sex

i like to do them like a normal manual not even thinking of a 180 and then at the end just jump like normal but right before i get off the grond i spin a little but fast, it helps a lot when you want to do long straight mannys to 180 out

but i like that alley-oop idea im gonna have to try that tomorrow
