How to dye a wheel-Step by Step(pics included)

if i do it before i go to bed it will definately be in there more that 4 hours is that still okay?
just as long as its in there at least 3 hours right?

nitroRC's did it end up dying the hot glue or did you colour it in?
what kind of dye did u use nitro? and how long did u leave it in their for?

TSIdude, yes, it did dye the the glue. I used RIT dye. And you are supposed to leave it in the dye for around 4 hours but i just left it in overnight.

thanks man, thats actually insanely helpful. but i have an idea of how to get a "vainy" touch to it. you could try putting some hot glue on the urethane in a weir looking way, covering the parts of the whel you want the original color. once you boil and dye, peel off the hot glue and vua la! nice "vainy" wheels. or put a company logo on the side in writing....

alright so i just used a whole back of black rit dye trying to dye my white proto grippers black, i left them in overnight and now they are a baby blue... i am pretty pissed off because i have an all black scooter and they stand out like a sore thumb. wtd should i do now?
