how to make homemade grind plates?

grind rails i think are made of hard urethane. since its slick. idk how you plan on molding your own urethane. unless you mean like a metal grindplate. then i guess you could just get some metal, countersink the screws into the deck and there ya go.

if its a b or a pro i guess, get a box section of 2 x 1.8 , so 2 up and 1.8 across then just get some longer axle bolts and your set.

I made one once out of a cutting board, just cut it to the right size and countersink the bolts and it'll be good. It might mess up your clearance a bit but it's really slick.

Be careful if you're using high speed tools to cut the cutting board, because it gets really hot/melty and will burn you really bad. I know from experience.
