I've been practicing high hops for like 1 day. I can do consistent and solid flat tricks already but I want to be able to hop high. Like do legit ledges high.Like go up 4 stairs high. I know it'll take time but I want your experienced pre supervision...advice.Thanks

I kind of know what ya'll mean cause when there is an obstacle in front of you it's like YOU HAVE TO CLEAR IT or whatev but what about when there's no obstacle and I just wanna jump high?

oh.
with handrails its really all about going for it. i really suck at little flat rails, but i can do handrails. i went from like a little flat rail straight to a bar height handrail. just try to get your front wheel higher than the rail and once you hit the rail, level yourself out and lean forward.

I find handrails easier too for some reason lol, but ill probably try to get my front wheel over the rail if i dont pussy out.

High hops are technique, and the way that's going to get you high hops is to pull the front end up first, then "pop" the back end up and it "pop" you high, one you get the technique down you'll be golden. I got this from riding bmx for so long so just watch how bmx riders like Dakota Roche and Dennis Ennarson hop and you should get the technique in your head.

Huck with the technique and you will hop high, like I see a lot of scooter kids, plus a lot of my friends that just do those hops where they bring the whole scooters up at once and then suck up their knees and they go like a foot high, but like that there's no pop so there's no force making you go up its just pulling.

Ohh lol! Cause I've been doin that junk! Have you ever seen anyone get onto or over something high using the "bring the whole scooter up at once" method though?
