FOR ME THE CROWN RACE went on mad easy. I just went over to my friends house and asked if I could use his vice. I put the fork in between a skateboard and a piece of plastic (couldnt find wood blocks). Probably wasnt needed, just wanted to play it safe. Slid the race down. Placed a screw driver on the lip of the race and hammered it with a wrench (didnt have a hammer either) all around. Was done in about five minutes or less.
These forks are mad solid as far as feel goes, haven't got to putem to the true test yet. Plus I will say the forks are pretty heavy but you dont notice it. It only takes a few minutes to get used too. Forks send out fast to and shipped to me pretty quick. Got here in the east coast in 4 days.
