its because it has the extreme guset thingsDom Dalbert said:jeez i just noticed it is an extra 15 bucks if you want threaded forks.
treadless comes with a washer so yes you can use sr compression with them.ScooTa Chris said:Can you use a star nut compression system instead?
Or do the welds get in the way?
If not could you just weld (3 tac's will do) a washer inside the fork?

The crownrace was a bitch to get on. But after going through 2 of them, i found this wierd crownrace on this ridiculous scooter ..and it worked like a dream.
Anyways, the problem is, i cant fit my Proto into the fork..lol So did anyone else have this problem? And did you guys just file it down a little bit on the inside until you could fit the wheel in?
quoting my review for the people that are still on the fence about buying theseTomK said:Okay i got my zero offset forks and i am going to give my review
Okay so right when i go it i was super pumped it seemed really nice. I only had probleems getting the crownrace on. The fork has a nice long tube and it is really thick(.083) The fork is very light compared to an sr fork and i love the zero offset. One problem i had was a couldnt fit stock pro model bars on it, but i just got a spacer and made the slits bigger and it fit good. Overall i think this is a really good investment and the company is very legit. I like this much more than i liked my SR fork.
Pros:
Zero offset
Light
Look good
fit 110
Strong
Cons:
Cant use stock pro bars
Hard to get crownrace on.
Its not gonna make it weaker.liltony said:yea same problem with me. i got the 110 to fit nicely. dont file too much though. the weld would be too weak
