Is scootering healthy?

I have weird health problems for my age (low thyroid), and my doctor advised I exercise atleast "once a day" for about an hour, which I would assume means run or otherwise exert myself heavily.

I think I'm too weak to run at the moment, and I was wondering if scootering for a longer amount of time would be sufficient enough...say maybe 3 hours instead of running for an hour.

yah, i'd say scootering is a good sport for excersize.

However, i'd go on an hour scooting - good, hard pushing for an hour straight - rather than pumping for 3 hours, you'd get much more excersize out of moving your legs, rather than bending your knees slightly.

I got myself banned.
Its health cardio wise. Its no good for your joints (knees mostly) because you take alot of impact constantly. Not that great for your back too.

scootering kills you. all scooterers die really young. do you know a single rider who even make it to their 30s/40s?

It is healthy, you're getting physical activity. But same as any sport, theres a chance of getting hurt.

Carving bowls gets you hella in shape, after carving a bowl for not too long my legs are already pretty tired. Just do that a lot and you'll have no problem.
