Oh man check out Linkin Park Underground 6.0

I love it.

Got it from some russian forum haha. Its pretty hard to find right now it came out like yesteray. Has their new song Qwerty on it.. (a studio version - less good and a live version- real good... but both different from the live version ive had for like 2 months now) and they have like an acoustic version of "pushing me away" on it. Its just piano and chester singing. I LOVE IT. Also have a new song that sounds really good as well "reading my eyes".... its live as well. Also "breaking the habit" live... they start out half the song with just the piano and chester, then switch over to th normal version of the song. Its amazing. Holy shit this makes me want the new album to come out so bad.

Yesssssss.

Everyone check out LPU 6.0 and the new LP album coming out early 07!

<3 LP

Linkin Park Fans,

What's happening? We have quite a bit of news for you.

Firstly, our new album has officially entered the "mixing stage" of the process. We have put more into the new album than anything we have ever done before. After over a year of writing, recording, and setting unrealistic finish dates for the record (sorry about that!), we are in the home stretch. The new album is very exciting for the six of us, and we can't wait until everyone can hear it! When can you get your first taste? We are looking to release the first single in March.

Some of you may think you have already heard some new music; not true.

You have heard either Qwerty, or Announcement Service Public...both tracks that came out of our recording process, but neither of which will be on the album. They are currently available on this year's LPU CD, go check out www.lpunderground.com.

Also, get ready for LPTV. We are going to be releasing a series of internet webisodes on www.linkinpark.com that will give a history of Linkin Park, as well as an inside look at the studio experience with the new album. LPU members will have access to extended footage on almost all of the LPTV episodes.

Lastly, for all of you street teamers, we will be opening the team in the coming months to all you who believe in us, and want to help us spread the word - look out for more coming soon on how to join.

I can't wait until you can all hear the new music!
- Phoenix

YAY!!

Linkin Park's much-anticipated new album,
Minutes to Midnight, will be in stores TUESDAY, MAY 15!

You can expect to hear the first piece of brand new music starting on April 2, when the new single "What I've Done" will be released.

"We have put more into the new album than anything we have ever done before," says bassist Dave "Phoenix" Farrell. The band spent over 14 months in the studio and wrote more than 100 song demos in the making of Minutes to Midnight, an album which vocalist Mike Shinoda sees as, "a breakthrough in the development of the band's sound."

Mark your calendars for Minutes to Midnight on May 15!

Well, LP involved me into the world of alternative music about 6 years ago, so I respect them even now. Though they are mainstream, there are still some interesting songs to listen. And "reanimation" mix album was awesome, none of bands done something that qualitive before. I like the whole conception of LP's creations: like three styles of music sounds in harmony. Very well done, though I don't listen to them much now, I am more emo/harcore now)))
