What do you think about Minutes To Midnight? My opinion: LP is loosing its style((((

Man when i first got it, i played it through once. I didn't like some of the stuff as much. "The Little Things Give You Away" i never really liked until i went back and listened. So many lyrics on this CD are just amazing. I think some of the songs really show that "less is more"


i have the CD in front of me let me quote a thing from it.

in the comments thing of "in between"

"...Even with just Mike's vocal and a bass line, this song remained on the bands "favorites" list, as many songs with a lot more production were voted off the album."


Songs like that just grow on me, I thought that it was kind of lame when i first listened, and like 'where did my LP go?' ... but the more you listen the more you find. The overall CD i think is just amazing. Probably 4 or 4 and a half out of 5 stars. They still ahve No More Sorrow and Given Up which are pretty hard. And Bleed it Out i didnt really like but that grew on me a lot. I read a lot of reviews and people were saying "valentines day" was a crappy song but while its probably my least-favorite, i actually personally like it.


i could go song-by-song and review, but i wont. Just know that i have wayy too many listens to this album, and i know it really well.

yeah i know im addicted/a loser/fucking retard.... i get it alot lol. but yeahhh thats just my computer, dont forget my phone, which ive had the whole CD on forever.. and listen to it when im away from my computer all the time lol

I have it but i think its not very good. The good old Linkin Park Style is gone The only good Songs are Bleed it out and What ive done...

LP are kick ass ive listened to them since i was like 10 or 11 lol and they still r my fave band. i recon that on minutes to midnight they have gone in a diff direction than their previous albums but i still like it =]

hey, thats OK. My todays musical tastes are mostly based on Hybrid Theory album. I was like 10-y-o-boy, and I was like the most advanced guy in my city, showing off with first LP album's bootleg CD and low-quality videoclip OneStepCloser =)) I respect this band. Tho, MinutesToMidnight is not the album I have been waiting for 4 years, it is still rather pleasant for my ears))

dude yeah i noticed that! ive listened to them when they were called xero and hybrid theory and all of their songs have instrumental intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, loud screaming part, one more chorus and its over.
