MADD Street Deck

i respect madd gear even less now for selling out and trying to get a foot in the "street" side of scotering as it's becoming more popular

So you respect them less for doing exactly what people want them to do... So many people I know have said they would ride a madd gear if they had flat sides and I'm pretty sure some of the people on here have said the same thing. Madd gear saw that people wanted flat sides and they gave the people just that. If you want to get angry about something think, when's addict going to make a deck with flat sides?

It just annoys me when companies like Maddgear make a deck and actually put "street" in the name of the deck (DDAM deck), just because a deck has flat sides doesnt make it designed for street riding and any deck could be ridden in park or street although certain decks are obviously more suited to certain aspects of either stereotypical "street" riding or "park" riding.

thats not "exactly what everyone wanted them to do" we all just want mdd gear to roll over and die. im saying they should atleast stick to what they are instead of trying to put a street label on their brand. also there are so many more reasons mgp sucks besides "flat sides".... plus where the fuck does addict come in? why would they make a deck with boxed extrusions

first of all, fuck madd gear, that shit needs to find another sport to ruin.

Think about this when you buy one of these nifty "street decks".
If you must have a deck with boxed sides, and you have to decide between a tsi and an mgp, get the tsi. Every time someone buys a deck from mgp, the rider owned co just missed out on business. that business will keep the rider owned co alive through the ups and downs of the sport. God forbid scootering goes extinct next year, you think that MGP is going to stay around and supply riders with good quality parts(not that they ever did)? i don't think so. However, the rider owned company will keep making decks, stay in the scooter community, and keep us riding solid quality parts.

Just to put it in context, mgp could easily be the reason RAD is out of business for the time being. They have replicas of the crowbars, and abuse their resources to monopolize the market. If people keep supporting this company, who knows who will go out of business next. I know I just ranted and I hope you guys can make out what im trying to say, because its really important for the future of the sport.

The one on the right is pretty much what Ryan rode in Hong Kong, and IMO it looks a shit ton better than the one on the left
