Hahaha, excuses, excuses. They wanted to win, they just couldn't close the deal. And they do not make more money if they play more games. They have a net pay per year. Endorsement deals are the only exception, but either way, the ads would play for a certain amount of time before they cancel. The companies pay for a range of different ad campaigns, whether it's two weeks, a month, or longer. That player is given an estimate of how much they will make for those commercials or magazine ads being shown. So that's all hoopla. Phillies have a chance, and I'm hoping they pull through because the Yanks don't deserve shit. They shouldn't have even advanced from the ALCS with the 8-10 blown calls in the Yanks favor. The Yankee's World Series run is a total joke as far as I'm concerned.
