Game 6 tonight, feeling good about this... If we take it, high drama for Game 7. I'm loving the playoffs this year.

Yeah I hope they win too. 7 will be so wild. If Angles win i can't wait to hear all of the critics and fans crying about it, that will be pure pleasure.

Game 6 is postponed til tomorrow night due to rain. Sucks.

I was all looking forward to it, waiting for I Love Lucy to end for the pre-game show. I got tickets to a Ducks game tonight, was super bummed that I was going to be missing the game, paying attention on my phone, of course. But now I'm glad I took the tickets, since the game is rescheduled for tomorrow.

Ducks play the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight. Now I hope I miss the postponed playoff game for a good game/fight or something, haha.

And once again, a handful of bullshit calls in the Yankee's favor... I swear to god, if the Yankee's win this series because of bad calls again, I will boykott the shit out of the Yankee's whenever they come to Anaheim...

Didn't get to see the game tonight, i was at the Pearl Jam concert next door. Super pissed though, because they had a chick walking across the stage between songs with the score, than she stopped and i heard we were loosing. Gayyy

So rad. Game 5 is starting off to be epic. Commentators are talking about how 36 out 41 teams that lead the series 3-1, usually end up winning Game 5. Yankee's started it off with a 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st on an A-Rod double scoring Damon from 1st base. Rollins gets a base hit to lead off for the Phillies, Victorino gets hit by a pitch on a bunt attempt that never broke the plate, and Utley comes up... First thing I said was "C'mon, Chase, three run shot!"

Sure enough, first pitch fast ball, belt height, knocked it out. Phillies lead 3-1 right now going into the 2nd.

Phillies killed it. I didn't get to see Utley and Ibanez homers twoards the end, got booted out of my friends basement and had to listen to it on the radio, so pissed. Hopefully Martinez pitches Wednesday and kills it

the yanks held back, so they can take the series at home, the first year in the new stadium. plus, the more games they play, the more money they make..(tickets, food, drinks, merch). pettite will wrap it up in game 6.

Held back? Phillies were killing the balls tonight. Utley had 2 homers again and Ibanez put one up to the second deck. Burnett only lasted like 3 innings after giving up 5 runs haha.

Hahaha, excuses, excuses. They wanted to win, they just couldn't close the deal. And they do not make more money if they play more games. They have a net pay per year. Endorsement deals are the only exception, but either way, the ads would play for a certain amount of time before they cancel. The companies pay for a range of different ad campaigns, whether it's two weeks, a month, or longer. That player is given an estimate of how much they will make for those commercials or magazine ads being shown. So that's all hoopla. Phillies have a chance, and I'm hoping they pull through because the Yanks don't deserve shit. They shouldn't have even advanced from the ALCS with the 8-10 blown calls in the Yanks favor. The Yankee's World Series run is a total joke as far as I'm concerned.

blown calls are part of the game, every team catches good breaks, and every team catches bad breaks. and the yanks are the best team in the majors! how is their WS run a joke?

Yeah, blown calls, maybe two or three in an entire series. But eight to ten in a matter of two games?!?!?! That's a bit odd to me. And had they been called correctly, it could have changed the entire outcome of the games, as well as give us a hell of a lot more opportunities to score the runs to keep up or be ahead of the Yankee's. Plus subtract some runs from you on bad base running calls, like Aybar tagging out Swisher by at least a foot off second base, burried his hand into the ground, or the double play tag from Napoli to Posada and Cano, ump must be completely blind, no feet were on base and he just gave Cano third?!?! Blatently obvious call. So for that, I see them in the WS as a big joke. They only made it on a shit ton of bad calls in important games. Guaranteed they wouldn't have done it with fair calls.

ok, i see where you're coming from, but a sub-par team would be unable to capitalize on those blown calls. the yanks are smart, and take advantage of all they can get. plus, its not like the yanks are talentless punks. they have a solid lineup top to bottom, the best closer to ever live, and knockout pitching and defense.
