11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: I don't really have any complaints about the site at this moment.
12) What you like most about SR currently: The Scooter community and how if you have a question you can get an answer immediately. Also you can buy, trade, and sell things.

4) City: San Diego
5) State: California
6) Country: United States
7) How long you have been a member on SR: I lurked the forums sinse Decemeber of 2008, made some stupid account and then met Dustin Nooner. After i had met Dustin Nooner i made another Acount originaly named Fitstr1, but now I got it changed to Ryan. on November 29th, 2009.
8) How did you hear about SR: I originaly came across it searching for a new Pro Model fork. Maybe visited the site twice before I started to become more involved in the community. Then After I met Dustin Nooner he said something along the lines of " Hey! you should join The Scooter Resource. You meet so many new people and learn alot." So thats when iIheard about SR.
9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators: I think that I am qualified to be one of the new moderators because, I think that I could enforce most of the sections and sub - forms on SR and keep threads on topic and stop all the hating on Muse - Phoenix. Also take care of all the spam bots the site has been getting lately! :).
10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: Something unique that I could offer and that no one else can, is that I would focus on most of the sections that previous mods dont as well as they should. Sush as Tradin' Post or the Sub - Forms in the Scooter section. and also all the Ride Share section.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: The biggest complaint I have about SR currently is that some of the Mods dont really come on here anymore (Michael Rankin) and nothings being done about it, when someone else could easily take there spot and enforce the rules.
12) What you like most about SR currently: The thing that I like the most about SR currently is that the front page is being updated alot. Keeps the community really up- to- date on the biggest news in the scooter scene.
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: What i think should be changed on SR currently, is that you should get specific mods for EACH section on the website. I really think that the website would be more in-shape if you had a mod assigned to each section on the forum.
14) Your plan for changing these things: My plan on changing these things, is that atleast getting my idea SEEN. SR would be so much more clean and smooth if there was a mod for each section so they could watch over that section.
15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: First off I would like to say that Rob is the best mod that the community could ask for. He's funny, Nice, Just a cool guy in general. He really keeps SR in decent shape. And Brock May is also a really good mod, The mods set right now are good. Just a few more mods would help!
Being a part of SR has really changed my level in scootering. I have met so many people though SR it is unbeleiveable.
I would be HONORED to be a mod. I would really stick to it and keep the forums in shape. Thank you for this great oppurtunity!

Thanks, Ryan Weaver (Ryan.)

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can:
An Australian point of view.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently:
How everyone complains about companies copying parts, and how their is so much hate.
12) What you like most about SR currently:
How a lot of companies are coming on the forum and talking about their new products, and keeping riders up to date with whats going on in the company
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR:
More moderators. Someone needs to fix the links in the scooter mod bible.

13) Things you think need to be changed on SR:i think that more mods are needed on the site. pretty much to keep the arguing at a minimum.
14) Your plan for changing these things: my plans are to keep everything organized and stop fights in threads.

9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators: I enjoy helping other riders, and love being a member of SR.
10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: I think something is that I try to answer any questions to the very best of my ability, and I try to remain as patient as possible with people.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: Spambots, trolls, people that try to start arguments, and members that threaten other people.
12) What you like most about SR currently: I love the fact that I feel at home here, I never thought a forum could make me feel like a part of one big family. I don't get very many scooterers to ride with over here, and it's simply amazing to be able to connect with others that share my passion. I honestly have never seen a forum like this. I felt at home as soon as I started posting.
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: I really think that aside from the things I listed before, SR is perfect just as it is.
14) Your plan for changing these things: I think it should be for the most part left the same as before.
15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: I plan on moderating SR to the best of my abilities. SR needs more people with open minds to other sports, ideas for new parts, and tricks.
Also I don't believe there's very many mods from Canada, so maybe I would be more in touch with the Canadians of SR. :)

Thanks

9) I think I qualify to be a moderator over everyone else because I have experience on SR and I know the rules and I hate it when people dont read before they post.
10) something unique, hmmmm, well i'm pretty laid back but I can also enforce when I feel its necessary
11) my biggest complaint would probably be the lack of enforcement, not with the mods but the amout of mods enforcing.
12) I like the amout of people and help that anyone, both old and new in the scooter community can get.
13) Like I said earlier, SR needs more people enforcing and the rules need to be stressed more
14) I plan on enforcing with a strait forward but laid back method.

7) I have been a member since December 31, 2006 or 1481 days.

8) I was just browsing google looking for tutorials on how to tailwhip and suddenly sr poped up. So I made an account.

9) Well, I think I am qualified mainly because I have been around for a fairly long time compared to most of the newer sr members. So I have plenty of experience on sr.

10)Something unique I can offer is my knowledge of scooter culture. I watch scooter videos for approxiamtely 2 hours a day so, I have a very good general understanding of how difficult tricks are and what they are. I really enjoy giving advice to new members on help trouble shooting problems with their parts.

11)Personally my greatest complaint is definately how many community members will be rude to the new members on the site.

12) Currently I really like how the admins and mods are really trying their best to keep the arguing to a minimum. I find that alot of the stickied threads have help me signifigantely in the past. For example when I was trying to purchase deck a couple weeks ago I was unsure of the headtube anlge of pheonix decks. I checked the ''Scooter Deck Super Thread" and then found out it was actually 82.5.

13)I think a good fix sr should do is fix all the links in Brian Boston's "Scooter Modding Super Thread". I think alot of people would find that thread more usefull if it was updated more often along with many of the other stickied super threads.
Secondly I think the community members need to be nicer and provide a more friendly environment for all the new people who aren't as knowledgable as to how forums work.

14)My goal for changing the first thing is pretty simple just keep updating and checking the super threads to make sure all links in them work and update the super threads when new parts come out. For example the "scooter deck super thread" still says district decks have not come out yet. Although most people know they were released a few months ago.
For the second thing I belive should be changed I just think that warning more people that are being rude and possibly enforcing more harsh penalties will help get the message to these peoples heads easier.

15) I feel that I am fairly well respected throughout the community. I don't have to many enemies in the SR community. I have always followed the forum rules. Never recieved a waring or ban in the 1481 days I have been an active member. I have a great understanding of how the community works and how everyone should behave. I have made a huge impact here in Canada to the scooter scene. I got a park near called Inflow Bike and Skatepark to allow scooters. The owner of this park has been quite supported of scooters and has even hosted a comp where he gave scooters the whole day to ride. I also assisted in the organizational part of this comp. Coming the end of March/Begining of April he is hoping to host another comp. In the summers this park has a summer camp program where I helped the smaller kids with scootering fundamentals such as: tailwhips, how to dropin, 360's etc.

Thanks for your time,

12) What you like most about SR currently: The trick section because I think many riders get help from other members including me.

Oh and sorry to bother you again, but I accidentally sent my last application unfinished. It's probably right under this email.
I am also on SR every single day, so if there is ever a problem I will take care of it immediately. I am on SR a LOT, and I read ALL the threads to see if there is any arguing or spamming. I know moderators cannot ban people but I will contact an administrator very quick. And my join date for the account I'm using right now is September 2010, I forgot to put that in my last email. But if you read it you know that's not my join date haha. Okay, well I hope you find a good moderator, and that I am the man fir the job,

9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators: I beleave I am qualified to be a mod because I have been around the forum long enough to now how too make things run smoothly and I pay attention to what the other mods do and say and follow by example.
10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: I am always on the forum and I catch stuff before most people can see it and that is beneficiary because if it is something bad i can just delete it and do what i need to do for it too be gone before to many people see it.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: My ultimate compliant is that there is not enough moderators checking stuff and you guys have got that now as everyone can tell.
12) What you like most about SR currently: I like how the forum is layed out. For example the video section, it is layed out perfectly for people that need to know stuff about editing or there camera. And that goes for all the sections, they are all very easy and convenient to use.
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: I think that people need to be treated fairly on SR and i dont think that is happening now. If i see someone bashing or talking smack i will address them and tell them to change what they are doing and take action from that point.
14) Your plan for changing these things: If i see someone bashing or talking smack i will address them and tell them to change what they are doing and take action from that point.
15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: Like i stated i am always on the forum checking threads already everyday and i try and help people out as much as i can when its something i now about.

9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators: I am enthusiastic about every aspect of technology, scootering, video and photography which is essentially what this forum is about.

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can: I'm Australian, I have a quite a different approach when it comes to riding, video and photography. I am a happy mature person that can take jokes and not be offended by them but simply laugh at myself. I'm not demanding, I am patient and a happy chap who will do what is needed without complaining or time wasting. I may not be the best rider, but that doesn't matter because I don't compare myself to anyone else. Everyone is in their own bubble of skill. I make sure I don't invade or get intruded on my bubble. I ride how I like.

11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently: The people who start arguments (This is probably what I would like to help stop if I am a moderator on SR, everyone needs to get along and be a happy community.)

12) What you like most about SR currently: The huge community of people who encourage others to get better.

13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: We need more user-created tutorials that encourage others to be inspired.

14) Your plan for changing these things: Will encourage and create 1 or 2 tutorials/demonstrations that will help others.

15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else: I use a spell check and I try to use appropriate grammar in all of my posts. 8) How did you hear about SR: Found it by myself looking up scooter parts.
9) Why you think you are qualified to be one of the new moderators: Well, first off, I know when people are breaking the rules, and I think some of the moderators on the site don't really care. I will not give an example.
Second, I have always followed the rules, except once. Once, I was high and started posting a lot of topics in the discuss anything section. Though, I do not get high anymore, due to getting caught.
Third, I honestly hate people who breaks the rules constantly. If someone breaks the rules once or twice, they deserve a warning, but after that, it's really annoying. Plus I don't type like I am 2 years old.
10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can:
I think some of the people on SR will try to become moderators just so they can abuse the powers. I would never do that. This may not be unique, but I honestly think most people would abuse the powers.
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently:
So many people are going on SR breaking the rules. People need to read the rules before they start posting. Also, I hate the bad grammar. I can't stand seeing people talking like they have never been to school.
12) What you like most about SR currently: That I can talk about scooters without ridicule. I can share my scooter, videos of me doing my sport, and everything is organized and easy to find.
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR: People make so many useless post's and thread's it annoys me. And people fight a lot on the site, and there is too much cussing.
14) Your plan for changing these things: Well, for the people who make the useless threads can get warnings and bans. Also, I think the rules on the site should be more strict. A lot of the rules get broken unseen
Also, the cussing needs to mild down. If my dad saw this site with all this cussing, I would be banned from it. I can't stand all the cussing either, though I do cause a little myself.
15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else:
Though, I may be only 14, I am way more mature then most people. So I hope my age doesn't stop me from getting a

Hi my name is david lee, sr username “Rottweiler scoots” im probably going to change it soon. I am 17 years old and I live in Fredericksburg Virginia. I have been a dedicated member of scooter resource since November 23 2009. I found out about this site from my friend david “dgib” around july of 09. I think I am qualified to be moderator because I have a lot of knowledge in the sport, well mostly on mechanics. Like if you have a problem, Ill do my best to find a solution if I don’t already have one. But obviously im not an O.G. so theres probably a lot of knowledge that is only acquired by experience that I don’t know. I also believe Im qualified because don’t try to start arguments when I post if anything I would try to resolve them. Im also mature; as in when im wrong, I will admit that, but if I do believe I am right, ill try to come back with the most logical and understandable reason of why im right. Id have to say my unique quality would be my attention to details. When there is a question about something simple, I don’t just say “search” id ask more questions to get a better view on their situation so I can give a more “on point” solution. The thing I like most about sr is the community. I like how the current mods are running things currently, but I do have one problem. The constant arguments. I plan on diminishing this by finding the start of the argument and either just simply banning them or finding an agreement between the two. Oh also, I am sort of a sarcastic person by nature, but when I need to be serious, I will be.

10) What is something unique you can offer that no one else can:I am on very often and can respond to problems quicker than most other people
11) Your biggest complaint about SR currently:All of the fighting and cussing
12) What you like most about SR currently:I like how some people, speciacally mods and admins, and nice and respect the rules
13) Things you think need to be changed on SR:More enforcement of rule 2. the fighting and drama needs to stop
14) Your plan for changing these things:Im going to warn people about a ban for violating rule 2 and try to stop the drama before it starts
15) Anything else you would like to add that you feel might qualify you more for this position than someone else:I thin that i barely ever vreak the rules and notice everytime that other people do
