Ikr. Why can't we just all get over the street vs park thing and just accept we enjoy our self on scooters and have fun doing both?
I know right, its almost as bad as bmxers/skaters hating us like would you hate someone that liked a different restaurant as you or drives a different car. It does not make sense

Tell me about it. I'm not a park or a street rider, I'm a scooter rider. Not to mention surfer, skater, mountainboarder, BMXer and all around haver and adrenaline seeker.

Lol at school just now one of the skaters walked up and said "You're on SR? I thought it died a long time ago?" I was surprised he even knew what it was because he never rode and I was like yeah there's some activity. He told me to get off and get with the times to which I responded with this photo:

You know what Stuart? I like this thread.
Completely unrelated I know. I wanted to post this. Well it is related because I heard someone play it at a skatepark. But I had heard it before.

My friend encountered a 40 y/o mtb rider and they started to talk and the guy was talking mad shit, he wanted to see my friend ride and he said he couldn't the guy asked why and my bud said he had a sprained ankle and the guy says "You know what they call that in medical terms? Pussy syndrome!" At that point My bud and I were dying of laughter so we walked away.

Every mom of a scooter kid who comes into the park (but this one in particular), who sits on the ledge and refuses to leave, then, me making lemonade out of lemons, goes to manual it, but then she setting up a picnic. A picnic. Yes a picnic. Right on the manny pad. And me just before, running up, got snaked by her kid. I tell her to leave because there are no non riders allowed and she is causing an obstruction along with her five year old snaking everyone, calm and mature, but no, she responds with "How old are you?" I am confused for a moment but get to the point; "Thirteen but-". She had cut me off by saying she had gained so much wisdom over her years. Look this isn't a matter of wisdom, this is a matter of simple park rules. She had just called a skater out for having his helmet unbuckled because she said that broke the parks helmet rules. I've seen a bucket pass through. A literal bucket. I was starting to get angry so I just went to the pool because her kid was scared of that so he wouldn't touch it and flowed around a bit. Later, the dude who monitors the park came back from his lunch and I told him. A brief argument ensued and she got out. The park was a happier place once again.
