My Review on the Razor Ultra Pro

I ordered my ultra pro from skates.com. It took about 9 full days including weekends to ship.

When I opened the box, everything was put together except the bars. The bars slid onto the fork without a problem. I noticed that the fork tube was thicker than the regular pro forks, and the forks had gussets. I don’t think I’m going to have any problems with this fork for a long time.

The first thing I noticed about the scooter was how light it was. It took me about a minute to get used to the weight. After I got used to the weight, I got double whips flat perfect. Caught every time. Manuals and nose manuals are different on this scooter because it is so light, but it’s very easy to adjust.

The next thing I noticed was the head tube angle. Many people were complaining about how it’s too far back, however I don’t think that it is at all. I like the angle because it’s about the same as my Old A that I was riding prior to getting this scooter.

The brake on this scooter feels very low so I took it off and put on my Madd brake.

The stock bars on this scooter feel nice, but I don’t think they are as strong as most aftermarket bars. I don’t think they are going to break on me because I’m not a very hard rider, but many other riders might have problems.

The deck on this scooter is a bit short. It took me longer to adjust to the length of the deck. Although the deck is shorter, you still have about the same amount of room on the deck because there is no folding mechanism.

The wheels are fast at first but if there anything like razor pro wheels, they will eventually wear down, de-hub, and chunk out.

Overall this scooter is a steal. It’s about 100 dollars for the whole thing and its 100% worth it. The scooter is really solid and I rate it a 9 out of 10.

sounds good
I might get a deck because my local snowboard shop has them and they are willing to sell the deck seperately
apparently the deck is light?

Some like them, some don't. They are light, but on the downside they are short and some have broken at the headtubes.

Seth is right.
Ive had mine for about 2 months and it hasn't snapped on me, and I trow mine around everywhere.
The weird thing about them is, for some reason, if it hits the concrete or hard wood or any hard surface, it makes the biggest crash noise EVER!
Its insane, :p

Ive only ridden the ultra in park, i dont go for anything super huge, but im scared to take it to the streets/stairs. Can anyone assure me that its not gna bend or break on a stair (nothing bigger than a 7 or so). Im sure it will after a while but i dont wana roll up once just jump and have the shit crack just like that...

If heard wayyyy to many people about breaking them.

Thats why, im staying away from Razor. I dont like how they shortend the deck. Its weak (in some spots). I woulod Rather a Normal pro. If you look in another thread, alot of people were saying that the normal Pro would last them longer then the Ultra...

I dont like them at all....

MGP/MGPN... Besttt!!

Just... Yes I've heard that from Josh Toy and he's been with razor since like 2000. RUP is a great deal. If you're not sketchy than its amazing and feels great.

Haha, flyout doesn't even put as much stress on a deck as most stuff does... nor do I even ride flyout anymore. Trust me, normal pros will last anyone longer than these shits.

They are extremely light. The actually deck is much thicker, and stronger than a normal pro deck. But the headtubes snap in the welds, or under the weld and cracks around. I've snapped 2, monky broke 1, Nick darger and Nick donatelli broke a few, and seen some others break in the headtubes. They are legit while they last, when it begins to crack in the headtube, its a count down til when it breaks.
