I ordered my ultra pro from skates.com. It took about 9 full days including weekends to ship.
When I opened the box, everything was put together except the bars. The bars slid onto the fork without a problem. I noticed that the fork tube was thicker than the regular pro forks, and the forks had gussets. I don’t think I’m going to have any problems with this fork for a long time.
The first thing I noticed about the scooter was how light it was. It took me about a minute to get used to the weight. After I got used to the weight, I got double whips flat perfect. Caught every time. Manuals and nose manuals are different on this scooter because it is so light, but it’s very easy to adjust.
The next thing I noticed was the head tube angle. Many people were complaining about how it’s too far back, however I don’t think that it is at all. I like the angle because it’s about the same as my Old A that I was riding prior to getting this scooter.
The brake on this scooter feels very low so I took it off and put on my Madd brake.
The stock bars on this scooter feel nice, but I don’t think they are as strong as most aftermarket bars. I don’t think they are going to break on me because I’m not a very hard rider, but many other riders might have problems.
The deck on this scooter is a bit short. It took me longer to adjust to the length of the deck. Although the deck is shorter, you still have about the same amount of room on the deck because there is no folding mechanism.
The wheels are fast at first but if there anything like razor pro wheels, they will eventually wear down, de-hub, and chunk out.
Overall this scooter is a steal. It’s about 100 dollars for the whole thing and its 100% worth it. The scooter is really solid and I rate it a 9 out of 10.
