Baby makers is a pretty funny movie. Kind of like a romantic comedy type of film but it had some manly type of humor and it definitely left me loling at times. I recommend it if your not an impatient fuck and like "ted" like comedy.

I also watched super 8, Pretty good. There were times when it got a little kid ish but a good watch if you have nothing else to do.

EDIT -

can you guys write a tiny bit about what you liked about the movie and what other movies it relates to so that we have an idea? if your just naming movies it doesn't really help

lost- i watched every episode when it aired, first seasons are better than the last couple but once you start you can't stop.
how i met your mother- great comedy tv show
donnie darko- probably one of my favorite movies. you might have to look up some background info after you see it to understand it though.
bones brigade documentary- one of the best skate teams during the 80s
christian hosoi documentary- rock star of a skater from the 80s
mat hoffman documentary- if you don't know who he is, KYS
robocop- cop gets shot up, turned into robot cop. some OG effects but pretty sick.
super 8- like already discussed, awesome movie. alien movie centered around a group of kids
adventureland- really liked this one. great soundtrack and fuck it, kristen stewart is a babe.
freaks and geeks- tv show showing a pretty realistic version of high school. judd apatow was the producer (same guy who did superbad, anchorman, etc).
splinterheads- similar to adventureland but older cast. chill movie
god bless america- super funny, but completely hypocritical. the main actors are super good
submarine- this english kid tries to balance his gf and his conflicted parents. i liked it, pretty funny, a bit of a wes anderson vibe
charlie bartlett- kid sells drugs to other kids in his school, acting like a psychologist. acting by the kid is awesome

updated list and added some thoughts

I'm a couple seasons deep into Supernatural right now, it's pretty good. I also have Donnie Darko in my instant queue I watch it so much.
