NEW AND IMPROVED! TRICKS YOU NEED HELP WITH ZOMG

hey so I got like an epic deck about two months ago after having a rup and was wondering why tailwhips are so much harder. like i can still quad whip fly out and all but it takes way to much effort... and im not getting anymore used to it... is it the weight, length, HTA, width, or combination that makes it so much different

Flyout quad whips are gay, and Ultra Pros weigh basically nothing. Maybe having an Epic deck will make you change up your trick list, which would be a good thing by the sounds of it.

Good to know I got help with my front scooterflip airs...

haha 8 months later but hey just incase you still need help..

first off, I find doing the scooter flip on the outside of your spin is the only way that really works.. so if you scooter flip toward your toes, spin FS.

Mainly I try to carve more so I don't need to spin a full 180, and I sort of kick the deck to the side more, so it almost heelwhips a tiny bit before I throw the flip that way it's turned a bit more when I catch it. kinda hard to explain, but it's a really goofy trick to learn just practice. quarter to bank at first helps too, cuz trying to land these in quarter without being able to catch them solid is death, I've like body-slammed flatbottom more times on this trick than anything else

i reckon its the width-i ride ultras but i cant do shit on different width decks. u get used to it soon though. the weight also may contribute, but ull get used to that too soon.

Rotortwists? I had them for a lil while but they were sketchy as ----- I spin my twist fs and heelwhip it, and I end up catching my bartwist like 2/3 of the way round and it's killing my wrists. The motion is just killing me haha

Btw I'm learning them flat, fuck flyout.

so i've been scooting for a little over a month, and so far i can whip catch, barspin, barspin 180, tailwhip catch 180, (i heel whip naturally, but i can reg whip okay to), i can 360, manual (with both feet on) manual tailwhip manual barspin, and SOMEtimes land double whips, and SOMEtime flatbar deck slides to heelwhip. fairly simple stuff, but i need somthing else to work on so i get better, any advice on some tricks? please and thanks :)

ps. i onlyyy ride street so no park stuff, but i do have a flat bar for grinds.

Help with fingerwhips and double whips please! Don't just say 'learn flyout' cause I don't ride park, I have a kicker but it is about 4 inches tall.
Double whips I land one footed but in a manual; fingerwhips I just can't jump high enough.

double whips you need to jump as high as you can and whip as hard as you can. fully commit and keep your feet together. Learning fingerwhips flat is pretty hard unless you have like an ultra pro. The only advice I can give you to is the hand that stays on your bar, rotate it like 90 degrees down. It helps bring the deck up to you. BK has a tutorial on fingerwhips I believe

Coincidently I do have a rup! So just commit basically? But what do you mean by turn your wrists 90 - just point them down? But then surely the deck will already be moving before your hand hits it...

Help with fingerwhips, whip to bars and rotorwhips.
With fingerwhips I jump, hit the deck then put my feet down
Whip bars just don't feel right, I catch whips really high but I pull up and it feels weird as
Rotorwhips I just cannot keep control
