well kody geiger came to my house a couple weeks ago with one, it was really light but while riding flat we bent the brake tremendously, and he chunked out half of the back wheel after only about three days of riding. both the bar ends broke and the headset wouldn't stay tight. so i'd say that it needs alot more improvement before being manufactured .

Wheels seem to have been a bad batch but if you've been following the thread these aren't production wheels as actual wheels will be 110mm vs. 100. Brakes are potentially being switched to flex brakes as mentioned previously as well.

Not sure about the headsets or the bar ends as no one else has had the same issues. If you see Kody could you please have him contact us and let us know of the issues? It's a bit hard to fix anything that we don't know about...

just wondering what made you change your mind about "2 wheelers"

serious question.

Because we feel that there is a need for competition in this market and we feel that we can offer a comparable product and develop a strong team. We've been around for a long time and involved with TONS of riders that frequent or have frequented these forums since the beginning; we specialized in 4 wheel scooters in the past INTENDED for their carving and slalom abilities but were never given a fair chance by the 2 wheels scooter community to prove that at carving, they were the best. Move forward 5 years and we're developing a 2 wheel scooter that we hope will be a quality product and major competition in this market.

In the end, does it matter? No one questions other companies about why they make certain products so why is it such a surprise for us to?

Let's stay on topic here guys. This thread is about the Elite.

.

because you dissed 2 wheels scooters for the longest time.

gotta make your money though i understand. thats what its all about anyway. damn im sorry but dont act like you have done alot for this sport. you first try to start your own trend then when you realized it didnt work you went and tagged along to our sport which you have blatantly called old fashioned to try to make money out of us. you're not here to help the sport grow so stop acting like you are.

sorry for invading the thread though i had to let that out. im not posting in this thread again even though i know you're going to post a bullshit that has nothing to do with it and try to sound like its no big deal.

Anthony stop starting a problem please. Nextsport is trying to help our community and honestly, i rode Tom Loforese's bone stock Elite yesterday and i gotta say:

it's gnarly haha. The wheels are almost as fast as my eagles, the whole set up is ridiculously light and fun to do tricks on. The bars feel strong like FrIDs and just as light... idk lol, I got a sick run in on it and in all honestly i'm looking forward to these scoots hitting the market. Much better than RUPs thats for sure.

theres no way they are trying to help the sport. they are helping their wallets. they can make as many scooters as they want but they will never show the passion that inward, proto, phoenix and all these other great companys have shown in our sport.

Leave this thread. The Nextsport Elite is a great beginner's scooter and a fairly good experienced rider's scooter. It's just what someone entering the sport could want in a complete, and it's better than a RUP. They're doing good in my eyes.

Is it a threadless fork if it is using inverted compression? It looks like it has a threaded compression system on it.

Correct. Threaded for now but it could change. We are hoping to get riders v2's within the next week or so. We'll have them post pictures when it happens.

this is just my 5 cents worth.
all to often do i see new kids come to our sport with an winged (razor pro, Ultra pro Style) scooters. if this is a scooter to be marketed to the less experienced rider please put a reinforcing piece of metal at a 45 degree angle to the wing and the bottom of the deck (madd gear style). way to often i see younger kids with scooters that have bent or warped wings, through poor foot positioning, tail whipping into the coping ect.
im just trying to get an overall stronger deck for the newest people to the sport.
madd gear have done it in australia, with most new riders opting for one of their decks over a Rup or other winged designed scooter
it just stops them from bending and then continuing to weaken the decks

I knew it was just an amount of time until Fuzion came out with a skooter. not bad for their first one.

I would suggest not buying fuzion though if you want the Independent companies to stay open.
