A ton of french id forks have broken and the new inward forks have only broke on the threads which is a given and the french id is really light but a little too light and throws off weight distrabution

the only inward that ive seen broken was zig shorts, but thats only because he broke it doing something that any other fork would have broken too. the inward is definately stronger than the french id. although i heard that there is a new french id fork coming out so we should wait and see how good it is

id rather ride a fork that was made out of a block of aluminum so there isnt any welding rather then a glued fork with a pin in it.

no judge can be made yet. Once its released to the public for a decent amount of time, we'll see. but the new frid's are CNCed one piece aluminum, so no more glue.

Im not positive but i think the inwards are one piece and Ive been riding them for months now

it says on the website that the steel tube is screwed into the lower part/fork legs and glued with the same glue that is used for car door hinges.

i dont think its glue. i think i read somewhere that they use red loctite, which when dried is pretty much like welding. that stuff is crazy strong

The new french ID forks are pinned. A repairment for French ID forks was posted on SR, they're totally worth it now. I'm not trying to sell frid stuff but if someone break a pinned French ID, just send me an email balthazar@frenchid.com . Inward forks look sick too, machined is so rad
