A) The kid that said it's Obama's fault-
Wrong. Bush raised the debt ceiling over 7 times, the republicans are using that trying to get Obama out next election. My brother is in the Dept. of Governement Auditors, and essentially the republicans are acting like a group of little kids that got their toys taken away. When Social Security was pitched, Republicans all were saying the same thing "We don't want that commie bullshit" but now that it's almost gone just about everyone in Washington including the Republicans are all saying "Don't touch that we need that!"
B) Democratic Socialism works, and it's not much different then what we got. The Netherlands are democratic socialist, I went there over the summer and seriously they're so much better off in quality of living then us. We're already a capitalist country with socialist tendencies, what do you think things like welfare, social security, are? We're basically setting ourselves up to be a socialist nation.

And if i could i would move to Sweden that place seems alot more chill as a whole then anywhere else in the world. And everything is not polluted you can drink water straight from creeks without the risk of getting sick.

We tried socialism once. Around 1620 at Plymouth rock. Check out how that went. It's a flawed design that will never be able to support itself, for why would someone put out 100% effort when he doesn't have to? The few with a work effort would be supporting the majority with little work effort, yet they all receive equal shares.
100% capitalism = warlords
100% democracy = idiots voting and ruining the country
However... a Republic with a little democracy and capitalism mixed in for flavor, would encourage a work ethic yet not throw us back into medieval times of massive seperation.

The water in sweden is alot cleaner and you can drink it without getting sick. Of course it has bacteria in it lmao. The water from the lakes is actually clean almost drinking quality it says. So if you drank it you most likely wouldn't get sick. And thats alot better then ours which is covered in fertilizer and has algae growing everywhere. Thats why we have the biggest dead zone in the world where no life can live under water during the summer months.

i do NOT want to pay all the taxes that they have to pay though. i heard it was like 50% taxation? that's rediculous, here it's only like 30% or less depending on how much money you make

we havent even considered talking about how a socialism in MODERN TIMES would work, how can you say its a flawed design without even knowing the design? there would obviously be a system to this, not just take what you want until everything's gone, HOW it would work is a different issue, but it WOULD work if we do it right. give me a few days ill try to figure out a possible working socialist system that could happen in america. its not an easy concept to grasp and figure out but its possible.

obviously i didn't mean every other country in the world is socialist. i don't want to have to pay as much in taxes as most socialist countries have to pay. i just think we should stop wasting money on things we don't need, get rid of corruption somehow, and start slowly bringing down the national debt and paying it off, we don't need a whole restructure of the government. i don't think you realize how many people actually love this country and would fight to do exactly the opposite of what you want to do.
again, if i was you i'd just live your little life until you're old enough to move somewhere else that taxes you up the ass, but hands everything to you on a platter and makes your standard of living decent without you having to work for it.
