Yup but what is your point that US is number 13? All those other countries that you mention do not have a higher per capita than the US according to that site.

EDIT: Just an opinion of mine, I think the most successful nations are not too far right or too far left. They take the middle road.

And I see what you mean Anthony, but my post was directed towards the statement that all of those countries were above the US, which according to that website, is not true.

Nope, but you can't just make judgments from stats that you try and relate to each other. But that really is a sad thing that America has the most child poverty in the world, kind of unbelievable.

luxemburg, ireland, and norway are all up there...

Liechtenstein: majorly socialist. state provides healthcare, prescriptions ect..
Qatar: is doing pretty well with considering they run under absolute monarchy.. oh, and they're socialist. state provides healthcare and all that good stuff the socialist countries provide. they also have some kind of wealth distribution system.
Bermuda: socialist, state provide education, medical ect..
Singapore: socialist, provides healthcare education ect...
Jersey: whaddyouknow.. socialized medicine and from my understanding, state provided education as well. not sure about everything else though.
Kuwait: wait for it... wait for it... free education and healthcare from the very efficient socialist government.
Andorra: socialist. state provided healthcare and.. yea everything else.
Brunei: socialized everything.
Cayman Islands: you got me, no socialized heathcare or schooling here.

so 1/12 countries that are ahead of us in gdp run on pure capitalism.

i say my point still stands?

Kinda stands...

I looked up a list of all the socialist countries in the world and none of those countries that you list up there are full socialist. They have some socialist properties like free education, free healthcare, but they are not full socialist. So, they are little less socialist than you actually think they are Anthony.

So if you are asking that America becomes a full socialist country, that may not be as ideal as you might think. Full confirmed socialist countries are Burma, Vietnam, Laos, Cuba, North Korea and People's Republic of China (According to Ask.com, I couldn't a lot of information on this subject.)

What i want is socialized healthcare, education ect.... but we also need to completely change our government, monetary system, banking systems, and everything else running our lives, i cant really say i want 100% of any system.
