im just takilg about how much better the frame is over the design of other models. you have lower standover height, you can run the seat lower if you want to, its a lot less bulky, and the new suspension design has a much better shock rate.

my custom stinky..
09 pike 454 air:)
deity, funn, fox, easton etc etc

I mainly use it for dirt jumping and freeride. I also do some DH but it does only have 5 inches of travel so its usually in the air rather then smashing through rocks along the ground.
I love it.

That's sweet looking Sax, I dunno about the red tires though.

So dudes, my friend's looking to trade his bike for an '08 Big Hit, are those good frames and stuff?

depends on the big hit. They have a regular big hit and a jr-big hit frame or some bs

http://img301.imageshack.us/i/bighit2jr9.jpg/#q=big hit jr = win

http://www.idealbikes.ca/images/bikes/430b29a67efc2.jpg = fail.. The frame is like almost exactly similar to the santa cruz super 8 and those were mad defective so I dont trust the frame. Plus its just shit in the first place ahahah

also I know this is kind of a late post but oh well

its not mad defective. the big hit groms were built for smaller riders that want a downhill style bike just like the kona stinky 2-4. the groms were a good frame, as long as you were small enough.

never rele was a fan of shivers. or dorados. or pretty much any inverted fork on a downhill bike. i always prefered the regular dual crowns. i just like the look of them way better and they are stronger.
