That's sweet looking Sax, I dunno about the red tires though.

So dudes, my friend's looking to trade his bike for an '08 Big Hit, are those good frames and stuff?

depends on the big hit. They have a regular big hit and a jr-big hit frame or some bs

http://img301.imageshack.us/i/bighit2jr9.jpg/#q=big hit jr = win

http://www.idealbikes.ca/images/bikes/430b29a67efc2.jpg = fail.. The frame is like almost exactly similar to the santa cruz super 8 and those were mad defective so I dont trust the frame. Plus its just shit in the first place ahahah

also I know this is kind of a late post but oh well
its not mad defective. the big hit groms were built for smaller riders that want a downhill style bike just like the kona stinky 2-4. the groms were a good frame, as long as you were small enough.

Yeah im a smaller rider ahaha I wouldn't trust that shit. Anything thats slightly similar to a frame that had swing arms snap in half doesn't rub me quite right

its legit dont worry. there is a 12 year old kid that lives near me that raced in fontana and hucks 30 foot road gaps on one of those. its burly

Yeah dude forsure..I loved it. I could jump everything ..unlike my stinky which is heavy
what year was it again? i test rode an 07 stinky and it seemed pretty light
its an 09. its stinky 6 though. so the components arent that great. it just has 55s in front..and they bottom out a lot

fox forks are sooooooooooooo smooth. i love them. they are just rele pricy. the only reason i only mentioned the 66's and totems is because they are pretty much the only 180mm travel single crown forks that could take a good beating. the fox 36's are only 160mm travel and they arent quite as strong

the only bad thing ive heard about marzocchi downhill forks is that there is a lot of slop in the bushings after a bit of use

So I went here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ibgDfuS6paU with my friend who has a downhill bike, and his first run down a hill his derailleur hits his spokes, breaks the hanger and a spoke, wraps the derailleur around so it's between his chain and seat stays, and bends his chain up. He didn't even hit a jump either, just cruised down the hill and got some bad luck.
