When the Old A's were discontinued and the New A's were released you'd expect riders everywhere to be annoyed, but Razor tried to fix it............with something TEN TIMES WORSE!!!!!!!!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=270259875589

I mean they brought the Old A deck back, fair enough, but they still have the stupid folding mechs on them, they also have these Metal-core wannabeese that are made of plastic, aswell as a thinner and narrower fork, head set,and T-tube,similar to the Nebulus scooters

What do you think of this abomination??? lol ;)

all the new a's are utter shit, some parts are usable tho

-deck if its reinforced and a B/pro foldy is put on
-bars, not that strong, but light and adjustable. smiler/the same as other stock scooter bars
-bearings can be used for pegs
-brake is shit, but is usable
-nuts and bolts can be reused for other shit
-fork can be reinforced i think

that is an aw125, and the 125 wheels are good for cruising if you hot glue them and stuff. also the fork for 125mm wheels is decent if reinforced

you're wrong there on like almost everything.

The deck is not usuable anymore with b foldy, the deck walls are too close together to fit a mech with room for a headtube, i've said that several times.

Bars are exact same as stock pro, just shorter.

bearings can be used for, what else? BEARINGS. i've ridden new a bearings my whole riding career, they're alot better than pro bearings. they can be just as good as skate bearings if you clean and soak them.

brake is basically same as a pro. pros are aluminum, but thicker, yet burn down, and new as are like copper, however they can be bent.

fork cannot be reinforced, they've been like that wayyyyyy longer than pro forks have.

that is not an AW125. for one, it doesn't have a wheely bar, two, its not even a real razor scooter. why would they change their patented foldy?

anyway, this scoot has been posted before, and all this was said. its a piece of junk, unless you weigh 70 pounds and only cruise.

wow im buying it for the full plastic cores
I hope your not serious.
This thing is clearly fake
I've saw the "New" New A's
The fork is reinforced :S
I think the razor people have been looking around a bit.
Its not like hardcore reinforced its like ghetto with an axle through the top.

why would they change their patented foldy?

I have a better question.....why did they discontinue the Old A's in the first place, don't Razor know that basically everybody wants them back, and if they did, they's sell like Hot Cakes??? I heard that they ran out of money and had to give the original A up.So,I guess it works like this.....

they can't make the original A scooter...
but what they can do is make a New A,a New New A,a Cruiser,a Scuttlebug, and a Pro Model???

Serioulsly someone should go the the Razor Warehouse, find the Machine that makes New A's,and just turn the damn thing off.

thanx for your thoughts, keep 'em coming ;)

i duno, but they've done it before so dont find it that hard to belive. for example old a, new a and b/pro foldys are all completley different from each other.

when razors first came out (original A's), they were a scooter of fine quality, and rightfully so they sold for like over 100 bucks a piece. soon after, the scooter market got flooded with cheap imitation scooters that sucked super bad and sold for 30 bucks. all the soccer moms obviously went with the cheaper alternative because their kids weigh 10 pounds and would never break any scooter. razor couldn't keep up with the overwhelming surge of bullcrap so they dumbed down the whole design of their scooter, made it cheap and crappy, and viola... New A

ah, got me there. but its not an aw125, the w stands for wheeley bar, which i don't see on that one.

i imagine they changed the foldy from old to new a to save money. its clearly weaker, anyway.

Ok fair enough, but i think the "scooter craze" has settled down a bit since 1999 and the fact that razor, instead of fighting to the death with these other companies and adverseries, downgraded to this abortion-worthy abomination, basically lets these other companies win, which i doubt are even still running to this day

WE NEED THE OLD A BACK!!!
