i know they help its just is it really worth drilling and cutting them cus th ones i have are steel and heavy

to me they are renforcments any renforcements help the only con i could see is it being to heavy

they save dropouts but your deck cracks faster at the foldy i dont really see the benefit to them except for the weight

you can do what i am doing and make them at school and buy your own metal and do it at home

less wait, cheaper, but probably not better :[

i've found that the scooter only lasts slightly longer.. the dropouts stay in good condition, but all the force goes straight to the foldy welds and destroys them.

But with reinforcements you can run decks with cracked dropouts that were previously unrideable.

strip and l shapes are the best imo. box kinda feels weird, no dis to pirate reinforcements its just a preference of mine seems to put less stress on the foldy
