do they really help it think i can get some for like 7 dollars at home depot can u post some pros and cons

i know they help its just is it really worth drilling and cutting them cus th ones i have are steel and heavy

they save dropouts but your deck cracks faster at the foldy i dont really see the benefit to them except for the weight

you can do what i am doing and make them at school and buy your own metal and do it at home

i've found that the scooter only lasts slightly longer.. the dropouts stay in good condition, but all the force goes straight to the foldy welds and destroys them.
 
strip and l shapes are the best imo. box kinda feels weird, no dis to pirate reinforcements its just a preference of mine seems to put less stress on the foldy
