watcha think?

any questions?

any suggestions?

I have a sugestion. You should make that little T thing (idea number 2) sticking into the urathane a little shorter so the wheels will be able to last longer When the urathane starts wearing down. Beacuse it would suck with that thing so tall to only be able to use it for a month or 2 untill you hit it due to urathane wear.

thats one thing i thought to and i have a solution to it, wait til i do a final picture and to my thoughts it will be perfect.

also dibb's hope you like them, wait til you hear click click click haha.
thats also pretty quick shipping compared to what other people have waited.

connor make your pictures a bit smaller and wait for me to make a few adjustments to the sketch then you can do a 3 model k?

Like I said before, that "T" in the middle of the urathane is way to tall and there is only about 5mm of urathane it looks like from that picture which is way way supersized so its probly only about 2-3mm of urathane life sized.

nick, go tell eric rabl thanks for messing our order up before so we could of had the chance to make even better wheels.

here is my final design along with an idea i had after, (second idea is in middle.)
projectmetalcores2.jpg

Also conor make the T shorter and more sloped twards the hub so it exapnds the life of the wheel when it wares down.
im also really limg the bowl design with the bigger hug around the bearings and T style teeth, except i don't want them T style
lets make them like an arrow so the flanges on the T point down. understand?
thanks conor,

I like the bowl design best out of those.
But i think having the "T's" as arrows would be really hard to machine
and they could still go a little shorter.
Something more along the line of
projectmetalcores2.jpg

would be easiest to maching and still be way out of the way of urathane wear.
Sorry if it sounds like im telling you what to do. I dont mean to sound like that.
Im just trying to give you my input.

when these are eventually made someone should send eric rabl a free pair with a letter profusely thanking him for stopping skates.com from getting micro metalcores, haha.

shouldn't the name be like skates.com metalcores? lol
or "Dank 'N Gnarly Metalcores!" haha

jordan has the best idea yet! erics getting one but it's going to be a special one =]
also we arn't doing the T style teeth it's going to be like an arrow.

andd the height of the teeth will be left up to eric because he knows that stuff and the hieght and ect.

idk about that arrow idea. i mean cnc machining has come very far but i dont even see a 5 axis machine being able to make cuts like that. maybe on a lathe but eh.

i like the T idea that or like alex (steadman) said, the flange things like on a bike rim. i acutally think that the flanges would be better since there would be two, and theyre on the outside so it would keep the urethane from dehubbing if you land sideways.

and if you gonna use the bowl idea then cut it deeper for less weight. im just saying cause spending the money on machining the bowl if youre not actually gonna make it worth it is pointless.

just some thoughts. ill sketch a new design to show you what i mean and hopefully itll be one that people agree with. gimme like a half hour and we should have the final all ready with everyones approval.

cause he decided to buy the wheels from the manufacturer at a higher price than what skates.com was gonna pay.
