im going to get one october is there by chance that i could just pick it up from the proto shop i live like 20-30 minutes away from it and dotn want to pay 20 dollars for shipping

They have storefront now so you should be able to do that.

So I'm confused. If this thing isn't all that light, and isn't all that strong, then what is the point of paying $250 for it?
 
He posted the weights before, the thing was like nearly 4 pounds. And I've already seen these things broken, I believe a Phoenix is a stronger deck.

Haha, but seriously be open to new things. The one that broke had the bolts not tightened/overtightened and it wasn't properly looked after.

in a while when i want a new deck im debating between this, zero gravity or french id :\

It is not "nearly four pounds". If I recall it is just under 2.5lbs with the brake and all the hardware.

District weighs 2.2 Lbs according to Scooter Zone, and Alex says the Orion is 2.5 not sure if that's without the headtube or not.
