Proto patent on scs

proto will start getting money from the other brands that make scs's n stuff if im correct, so they would be able to atleast put the price down a bit for people like me with no money haha
well there's two (or three) options
1. proto claims that all other scses are derivatives of a patented model, and can issue a cease and desist order on the production of the others, unless other companies can prove that their models are not in fact derivative and contain innovations. These results in a monopoly for proto, a situation in which they can charge a higher price, because they are the only producer in the market. Proto would make more money.
2. Proto, instead of issuing cease and desist orders, tells the other companies to pay them royalties for using a licensed and patented idea. All of the other companies are forced to raise their prices because of the increased costs. Because the market price has risen, proto can also increase their price, as why be 10 dollars cheaper when you could be 2 dollars cheaper and make more money?
3. The market for scses stays the same, but proto's patent limits any other companies from releasing derivative models, but companies like tilt and phoenix can continue to produce their scses.
I'm not too sure about the actual patent law, but companies outside the us, such as australian ones, could continue to produce new scses. I'm not sure tho
In all likelihood, proto won't do much with the patent, as it would cost more money to sue someone than they would make from royalties/suing
this is not something that kids should be worried about. company owners should be the ones wondering whats going on. its a good thing. Andrew invented something and now he gets to do whatever he wants. I can't speak for him but the chill companies I'm sure wont be effected so much as other companies that might have a little more..... money than others. So we will see what happens in the next few months

Hopefully Proto will be chill with Tilt and Phoenix. Charge royalties to Lucky and whoever else makes them that is a bigger company. Is it even legal to do that though?

I really think, he shouldn't go against rider owned companys like tilt or unfair (if he could stop scs production all over the world) because they do nice stuff for good prices & for unfair it would be the deathkick if he makes them stopo doing their raven scs

not when andrew invented it and some companies just make the exact same thing in china in HUGE quantities and make tons of money of something that they just swooped up on

once you have 1 solid scs you wont need another, ive never seen a broken proto
