Not hard to believe. It's chromoly, it bends. No bars are indestructible, some are just stronger than others.

you dont even need to have a threadless headset just put a stock fork race on top of the stock bearings in your stock headset and it will work

maybe i shouldnt have said KILLED. but they defintly bent to the point it doesnt feel very good to ride....
im not sure what he was doing
he snapped his fork and then when he put a new fork on the bars were bent WAY backwards....
