when i take out the bearings out of my micro metal cores, i dissasemble one of the bearings on one side, so its just bearing ring still in there , then i push out the other one, then i assemble the other while the ring is in the wheel, then i push it out. it takes awhile, but whateves

Happend to me too but my dad got it out and he ovoalized it

I want the wheels but its a bummer that you have to ride them in front for about 3 weeks to break them in first

bearing "socks" are made out of plastic. Plastic is not metal. Plastic can crack. Plastic can bend. You would only have to install the bearings once, it's not like you would take the bearings out from your Proto wheels every time you go to a skatepark.
true
but what if your bearings broke some how or another
plus with the xt wheels the plastic cups are removeable
so if one where to crack/bend they should just come with spares
id preferr to have to change a bearing sock than have deathclicks

I got myself banned.
A wheel that needs to wore in or rode in the front to stop dehubbing and what not is hopeless. I dont see the point in wearing in a wheel, unless it is poorly made :)
