you NEED!!!!!!!!!!! to make a video showing like what goes on in the shop and just how things work. a day in the life of buff would pretty much make my life complete! hahaha but no really that would be sooo sick man. im pretty sure that everbody would love to see that. you think that could happen one of these days??!

I've actually thought about that a lot but right now it is just not one of my priorities... plus I don't want to give away all my secrets yet, nameen? Once PROTO is cruising and I'm not stressing about getting everything released it will probably happen. It will probably go through my personal site which I'm going to be redoing later this year with actual content.

When are you going to put prices up?

I'm going out of town Thursday for a week or so, so before then... which leaves tomorrow.

andrew do you have an estimate when the new v3 forks are coming out?

Never. "v3" implies that SR is still continuing a series of parts which it is not. "SR Parts" are dead.

There SR's arent they? And seriously for how much shit hes got out there being ridden I havent seen THAT much of it break. Plus hes pretty damn legit with fixing it.

That is actually the first SR fork I have seen crack like that. I've seen maybe 3 with cracked dropouts and maybe 10 with cracked forktubes (threaded doesn't count because that was a given) and like 5 with legs that either bent forward or backwards. Overall it's like 5% of my total production has had problems after like 3 years... pretty good odds I'd say. If I know it was my fault or they weren't made as well as they could have been I usually try to repair, replace or advise the owner how and where to fix them. I stand by my products because I believe in my products because if you don't believe in your own products you can't expect others to believe or buy them. Every scooter up for scooter of the year is running them if that says anything.

SR forks and Proto forks aren't the same, at all.

Last I heard they would be plastics.

I have tossed around the idea of making a cheaper plastic core which still might happen in the future but right now my focus is metal cores. Sliders will just be a harder compound wheel for heavy impact, heavy side load and sliders. Won't be as smooth or fast as the grippers but will last a lot longer. I guess I can tease you in the meantime with these:
