Those are next.
After the protos dehub, if they do.
And after the eagles chunk/ovalize to hell, if they do.

I really don't understand why everyone has such a hard time getting the bearings in/ out of Protos. It's a tight fit, yes, but its not hard to do. I'll break it down for you. Use an axle with extra (crappy) bearing to put them in, and switch sides consistently until they are pressed in all the way. (Add extra bearings if necessary.) As long as they are put in straight they will be fine. And to take them out, put an axle in so it presses against the bearing spacer and hit the axle on the ground a few times until the bearing pops out, same with the other side.
And if you already know there is a chance that you will break your bearings putting them in or taking them out, use some stock bearings first, to practice putting them in/ out before you go trying to put your $70 bearings in. Plus, after there has been bearings inside the core they will be a tad easier to put in, which means less of a chance you will break them. I thought this was common sense? Guess not.

Of all the 10 year olds on SR one of the adults has to turn a serious post into a childish joke.

I actually need good wheels... I air. Which is why for once I'm complaining about PROTO parts... The bearings are too damn hard to get out without proper equipment...

haha, my friend just had the same exact problem... but with an eagle. so it's not just proto's, man, it just happens.. stop trying to make a big deal about it.

thats the thing though, i did all that but they wouldn't go in straight. broke 2 bearings doing it, titanium ones at that.

You can also use a vice, which is the easiest way. Just put one bearing in at a time and they'll go in straight.

Just going to throw this out here

If your stupid enough to buy bearings then you deserve to have them broken.

I ride bearings i found under my friends couch and they work great you dont need big fancy intense bearings.

I didn't dent it. the outer ring cracked and when they finally got out of the wheel, after a good 10 minutes of pounding, all the balls shot out across my basement, some of the bearing balls hit me. Not fun.
when bearings blow up its not fun at all. i was bolting my crossbar about this time last year and tightend it to much and the bearing shell cracked at the exploded.
any way ive bent 2 or 3 screwdrivers tring to get my bearings out of my protos scince chirstmas. im tring to get old a stocks out so i can put my pros in. hate it. at least the wheels are good.
