for the baby scs do we have to cut the bars more or cut the fork cuz im very intersted
You'll probably have to trim your fork a little, but you'll actually have to cut your bars less. I'm not sure exactly how much though.

Just put some spacers under that SCS, that way you won't need to cut your fork and your bars will be about the same height. I think the difference in bar height between Baby and normal SCS is like, less than an inch. On mine it looks like you'd have to cut the bars 1 3/4" instead of 2". I'm not sure if that's exactly right, but that means you'd only need a 1/4" spacer for them to be the same height, if you cut your bars for the normal SCS.

That's such a terrible reason for not wanting one, pretty much every bike rider has to do the same thing to their steerer unless they run spacers.

im confused....i wanna get a baby scs. but if i already have inverted compression and its working fine, is it really worth getting scs? like i know ill need to take the starnut outa my bars, cut my bars, insert a starnut in my forks, and possibly cut my fork?

but where im confused is the cutting ur fork or using spacers? help me.

would i just put spacers in top of the headset and under the scs?? like to raise the scs higher to theres no fork space between the scs and the headset?

thanks

it is worth it if u travel and also u do not have to take ur wheel off to compress the headset best compression i have ever ridden

You won't have to take the star nut out of your bars. When you put the Baby SCS on, it is shorter than the fork tube, so you will either need to trim your fork or put spacers between the headset and the SCS, so that you can actually compress it.

WOW you have to cut your fork
Well i guess that means im not buying one unless i buy a fork from the SR store pre cut.

How far do you have to cut it? Because if its far enough to cut off the threads on my fork i'll buy one.
