welll if hes not even going to post in this thread and lie and say they were tested then idk what to say.
Im just disapointed. :(

Everything IS tested... I still haven't broken any wheel I've ever gotten from Andrew, it took me over a year to break my SR fork, and the only damage I've done to other proto parts was bent alu crossbars on buffs, those were like freak accidents though. You guys need to realize that nothing will last forever, spend the money, support the sport, and you get quality parts. Either you're riding sketchy or you're just flat out putting the stuff through more than it can handle, either way you aren't going to find many parts that are better than Proto. Bottom line.

are you serious? and your on the team...........this is what makes me sad

Fake homosexuality is pretty popular among the team members. I have full faith in the company, owner, team, and parts.

(Bold 1)I think anything you spens 60 bucks on needs to last more then 2 weeks. Doesnt have to last forever, but it needs to at least make it worth the money.

Featuring BUFF Core Technology and Superior Performance Urethane these wheels are just what you need. From beginners to pros these wheels can handle any abuse you can give them.

Yes, i know its just a marketing thing but i guess the products are speaking louder then the words that sold them.

(Bold 3) As far as bars and forks go, the forks seam to be holding up, the bars seam to be abit thin, but doing ok. As far as wheels we have Frid, Eagles, scooter zone, many plastic cores, and some yaks (usas) that hold up better.

Im not trying to sound like an asshole btw, just my opinion.

kids need to chill, i'm riding a first batch proto in the back and its still going amazingly strong, with an eagle in the front.

the eagle is chunked a bit from when i used to ride it in the back but the proto is still in perfect shape albeit a little worn

truth

You might not be that hard of a rider. And the eagles is probably way older. No one needs to chill; id be bitching to if my wheels was dehubbing so soon.

Tank bars suck cause they are too wide. Wider bars have a better chance of bending/snapping.

well I don't understand why everyone's having such a problem with the wheels, I've never dehubbed, chunked, or flat-spotted any protos ever. No one on the team seems to have any problems with them either?

PROTO Scooters: Update Page 107

Are you getting pre production wheels? it could be since andrew isnt trying to get a shit load of wheels done when he makes them for you guys it comes out better quality.

Who all have so far broken the new batch of protos besides darger?

BK rode the wheels from the first batch just like everyone else recieved when they first came out. Why his didnt break, i have no idea. But i know for a fact that he probably put more damage on those wheels then other people did who actually broke them.

You're on the team, you're gonna try and promote your sponsor. Which, there's nothing wrong with. I would if I was getting free parts too.
And if I'm right, Murphy broke one.
