My scs seized and always came loose too, not saying its Andrews fault it was one of the very first ones.

I have rads with HIC, but i also bought a half knuckle double clamp, from Andrew at banks, i have to say without that HIC would suck.

And I would have to agree. HIC requires a decent clamp. Also It IS a good idea to get rid of clamps, but I really have never had many problems with steertubes bending. Short slots with a hole in the top dont really affect the tubing enough to worry about. IMO. Especially with a shim that goes deeper than the slots that actually reinforces it.

I really like SCS and HIC they are both perfect in their own ways. SCS for versatillity and HIC for cleanliness...

Oh I also wanted to say that I am surprised people have bent strikers. Those are without a doubt the best designed fork ever, especially since they are also so economical when compared to machined aluminum forks (take2,FrID).
Once Andrew heat treats them I doubt many will bend. Ever.
Even though I haven't had either personally I'd rather have a HIC rather than an SCS because you can use threaded fork, more convienient, it looks clean and its out of the way only real problem's are you gotta buy an aftermarket clamp for it to work to its full potential and you can switch bars to easily (RADS to Wee's ect.) IMO.
But with the I guess the SCS does the same job, looks fancy and adds a lil colour

no you cant? you can only use rad 1-3/8 OS bars.

soooo stuipid why use a compression for a threaded fork but people like the cleaner look and hic is just as good as scs they got their pros and cons

I rode this one in the back and i rode it in front first for a week, but these were meant to be broken in first. The one i have in front i thought would dehub first just because the urethane on the core is just fucking weird, but then i did a 180 to 180 bar out and it was making this weird noise and i lifted up my scooter and the urethane was hanging there barely. :(

Im not expecting a replacement. I just think that it is stupid he said it was the best fork and it bends in one month. Thats just pathetic.
