Uh yeah... You cant use this compression without 1-3/8" bars anyways though.
1-3/8 bars also fit the SCS without the shims if im not mistaken. 1-3/8 might become a new standard for bars. hmmmmm.

And Tony, Our deck is lighter than an XT but heavier than a Razor.
The deck in the pic is an XT. Im not posting pics of ours until its ready for sale.

Oh Cory yeah wasn't I gonna show you the one on carys skoot but we couldnt find an allen or somthing? haha Yeah I'll show ya next time I see you.

I own SR.
That is basically how the SCS started then I took it a step further and combined the shim with the clamp and yea.

I keep forgetting to take pics of the other bars I have. They were basically my version of the "vultures" but no bends and no sweep.

Yea, it definitely works I just didn't like it because you have to use new bars which aren't compatible with anything else really which is my big thing having everything be compatible.

It looks super clean though especially with that smooth integrated headtube. I have a bunch of integrated headtubes but they are all tapered. Does that headtube have solid walls? or is it hollowed out to make up for that huge OD?

I dont doubt that noones ever thought of this before, Its not THAT new of a concept. Personally I just think this is cheaper, easier, and less complicated. And it's stiff as hell. And some may argue that one simple clamp looks cleaner on the outside... But not everyone cares about looks so much.

^^ It IS hollowed out. I might use tapered ones but idk I've been into the coke can look ever since I had my pw-moto.

And yeah Your right it is a bummer that it needs diff bars but hey I make bars why not just make them fit? Plus if I make 1-3/8 from now on then people with SCS's wont need shims anymore. (SCS is 1-3/8 correct?)
Point is, for "freestyle scooters" 1-3/8" works better. It is stronger and will work with all other aftermarket "freestyle" compression systems :)

I dont care about making things compatible with shitty technology (razor stuff). The new size bars will be compatible with everything that is worth running though.

No those are one off headtubes I made awhile ago. I dont think I'll be making any of those to sell. MAYBE for the XT, but XTs just break on the welds under the deck anyways. Our decks will be integrated though.

Yea, the SCS is 1-3/8" so it works there. I also just liked the idea of getting away from "telescoping" tubes cause then you have the freedom to experiment with different wall thickness that wouldn't have been possible before.

Yes that is a problem. But inner shims can be made at different thicknesses to make up the difference for the bars wall thickness.
Or the OD of the bars can also go up or down. (for aluminum bars where a thicker wall is needed etc.)
