Couldn't find a frontal pic of an inward with gussets, anyway:

the forks look basically like an inward fork with the legs rounded and turned around.
how can anyone not see this? Same basic design, different shaped legs.

Dude I know what an inward fork looks like....
How different can a fork actually be!??

By your reasoning I could say an inward fork is the same as an SR fork. Just different legs pfffff haha you toool.

Your like the second person to say this... I honestly have no idea how they look even close to inwards....

EVERYTHING about this fork is different from inwards. It features a one peice steertube

inwards have a one piece steertube, just saying

forks look sweet though

Really? I'm pretty sure they use 1-1/8" tubing with a welded crown. Theres nothing wrong with doing it that way. The SR forks were that way too if im not mistaken. (i've only scoped one of them) Look at the difference.

The red lines show where the steer tube is. It goes through the crown race and must be welded underneath the plate/fork crown. And the crown race is welded to the top.

See the gap inbetween the steer tube and crown race?

Now heres how a one peice steerer is.

Oh wait... It's all one peice!

DSC00085.jpg

Look the "starnut" is all one peice with the tube as well.

And heres the tube underneath to show wall thickness since I'm sure some of you got confused and thought the steer tube was really as thick as it looks in the second pic haha :p

One peice steerer allows a lower stack height which means it is possible to make forks that will fit bigger wheels without the need for longer legs.
Also since it doesnt need to be welded underneath that means you can scootch the legs in as much as possible. (inward does an excellent job at this already).
Also since the crown race is not welded seperatley from the steerer it is less likely to get those tight spots in your headset because the race will always be perfectly in line. (unless the tube bends). Some may7 even argue that one peice is stiffer. And I agree. And I have made forks BOTH ways before.

D= its sam!!

I know what you guys are talking about, but I've never heard the term "dub" before, which surprises me because I've been smoking for over a year. Could you fill me in? :)
