Razor Dirt Scooter.

Packaging did limit the us from increasing the width on my signature model as a running change.

Next gen dirt scoots will have much wider bars with a new design =)

Wow that is gnarly Ryan haha.
I will see what we can do to better seal the bottom race.

Right now we are working on the next generation of dirt scoots, so any feedback is great.

If anyone is looking for a good replacement tire, I recommend this V

Phase Two replacements will be available soon, but these those should work for you guys.

I bought one of those tires already and its already spliting down the middle. I seriously dont get what im doing to tires but it is starting to piss me off. I grabbed my scooter with flats 2 times already.

Wont work. BMX forks and headtubes are way bigger then the dirt scooters. Dirt would still get in.

i dont quite understand how it wouldnt work. the dirt scoot and bmx frames both use the same size headset bearings.
are you saying it wont work because the bearing cups are thicker, since they are made out of aluminum? thats the only reason i can think of for why it might not work.

Why I clean mine often:

Been cruising on beach sandy areas lately so the grit of the sand is noticeable in the bearings.
The crown race it comes with leaves the bearing too exposed. I need new bearings now (atleast a bottom bearing).
Making the crown race cover more surface of the bearing would be a good idea

Is that a crack in the integrated headset cup?

I think I see what you mean, if he cleaned it up we could tell for sure if it is a crack.

We will see what we can do about protecting the bottom cup from dirt, most likely it will be some sort of rubber ring.

I also saw that some people had problems with their headsets being sticky or slow, so we will look into what may be causing it.

no that was a piece of pine or something.

And my tires have been awesome. Only complaints i have is the headset getting dirt easily, and the brake has gotten a lot worse rattling wise. Other than that havent touched my normal scooter in months

I think if your tires are flat it's an issue with the tubes them selves not the tires. Your tires can have a hundred holes but if the tubes are fine then they won't lose air. On that note, what tubes are preferred for the phase two? I currently have some from razorama.com

Tubes go flat if they are punctured or if the valve stem is loose.

You can tighten the valve inside the stem if you have the right tool.

Tires just keep your speed and grip.

The higher the pressure.. the more speed you will maintain.

What gives your tires strength is the threading inside. If you over-inflate or the tire takes an impact hard enough to tear the threading inside you will get a bubble or a complete tire failure.

You can run your tires as long as possible if you keep them below their max rating, avoid sharp impacts on the sides, and make sure they are seated in the rim right.

Tires with inner tubes blow out often, but you will learn to make them last as your riding adjusts.
