Razor fail

yeah josh maybe theyll make a better headtube hopefully?

Well I have been talking to the in house designers at Razor. And they are trying to figure out some ways to make the headtube last longer. Because no headtube is indestructible. If you add metal to a spot, it can reinforce but it will transfer the stress to areas surrounding it. Also, depending on what you do to reinforce, it could make it weaker. Just because you weld more metal where it snaps, doesn't mean it will make it stronger, temperature from welding and heat treating could weaken the area. So the guys at Razor have to keep all this in mind when trying to figure out a way to fix the headtubes.
I'm tempted to see if Razor might want to pay shipping for you to get this deck to them. So they can see if the welds were done properly or not. Because any broken deck is good for their research. And I've given them my bent deck, Jason Beggs gave them his snapped headtube, so a snapped deck in the welds would complete all the possible ways that they know of when it comes to breaking the headtubes, haha.

why dont they go back to square headtubes? it seemed like those were lasting longer than these ultra pro ones. just have a thicker tube too. the round tube on my freinds broken ultra pro looks WAY thinner than the normal pro headtubes... idk just my thinking.

yea i think a square tube that is twice as thick as a tsi headtube would work great. although, the ultra pro headtube looks pretty thick

If you haven't noticed he was pointing out that you were claiming to be smart, but couldn't spell the most simple of words.

and i said that we are on the internet in a scooter forum where half of the words that are spelled are in some form of slang.
p.s and I'm willing to ship my deck out if they are going to pay shipping.

^ Yes everyone progresses. But the cause of the snapping of these ultra pros is either riding sketch, flyout, street, landing hard.

Ride hips, airout, pyrimids, banks, what not.

im not gonna read this whole thread
whoever started it is a fuck
everything brakes
you would be lucy to run an unreinforced normal pro for that long
you prolly ride flyout or something

^ Wont work. Would either need a design for the headtube to rest on (lucky deck design), or the headtube to slide into (XT design). Trying that would do the same thing as ultra pros. The welds would break off since the design of the old pro model headtube designs are ment to be held on, bolted on. Headtube would rip off the deck.
