Razor fail

why dont they go back to square headtubes? it seemed like those were lasting longer than these ultra pro ones. just have a thicker tube too. the round tube on my freinds broken ultra pro looks WAY thinner than the normal pro headtubes... idk just my thinking.

1. Square tube is the typical design for most scooters. I think round kind of makes it a bit more original.

2. Thicker tubing wouldn't do anything but transfer the stress to the welds or the deck itself.

So josh, Razor maybe wanting the ultra pros with the headtubes snapped off in the welds sent back in? I have one posted up in my room.

I was thinking I could show them the picture, but they would want the actual deck so they can saw through the welds to be sure there aren't any airbubble-like pockets between the metal and the welds themselves.
I'm not sure if they'd want you to ship it to them or not, on their dime of course. But I can see what they say next time I go into the factory.

Yeah, that's an idea. It's just hard for me to get around since I don't drive. But maybe we can plan a day to ride. I usually ride with Jason Beggs and Sammy Hetherington. We go to Chino or Diamond Bar every now and again. So we should maybe plan to meet up there, if that's cool. PM me, we'll exchange numbers.

Haha. Yeah Josh, sounds like a plan. I dont drive either but my friend (biker) drives me around. I go to Diamond Bar so often, been to Chino 3 times (ayala), and planning to go back soon. We can get a day set man, im looking forward to it.

^ Yes everyone progresses. But the cause of the snapping of these ultra pros is either riding sketch, flyout, street, landing hard.

Ride hips, airout, pyrimids, banks, what not.

yeah my friend was fucking around i cant stand flyout cuz it sux for obvious reasons and i whore the hip and street.

Ultra pros have a more sleek design. Its more of a "flow" designed scooter. But you can ride everything, street, flyout, hips, pyrimids, airout, etc. But if you ride flyout, street, your landing more flat than anything. Causing a stress on the deck, headtubes, and breaking them. Cutting the life of them down. If you ride pyrimids, quarters (airout), hips or quarter to bank (fly boxes), the frame isnt going to go through all the stress of landing flat. It would make them last a little longer, but it depends if the welds hold. And if you ride sketch and all. Depends on what you ride.

Each rider and landing is also different, and their types of riding, landing, and what they ride is all different, some parts last for some riders, but not for others. Thats what it seems to be with ultra pros now too, some make them last, some break, and destroy them.

Hope this maybe cleared things up, that is if all i said is right? If not, you can fix it, and open some light on it.

Just leave it. Razor is possibly going to see whats going on with the cracking/breaking of the headtubes to see if it can be fixed.
