Razor RZ Ultralites on EBAY!?!?!?!

In whatever many years when scooter riders are all over TV i think a rare Razor scooter model would fetch a nice amount on E-bay.
But why woudl they make "Ultralites" anyway, the weight on scooters isn't an issue, i would rather own an "Ultrastrong".

RAD will be making ultra strong scooters. parts. bars will be out in weekend after next. and internal headtubes will be out in 3 weeksish... and then if we sell lots of stuff we will be able to make decks and forks too. all with chromoly not aluminum. so its ultra strong but it will be a little bit heavier but not enough to cry over.

um, you kids are all dumb.

carbon fiber is lighter and STRONGER than steal. so by making an ultralite they werent compromising weight for strength, they were actually making both better. people say they snap really quick, so i guess there was a design flaw or something like that because if it was done right itd be better than any other scooter

hahah you are dumb. carbon fiber bmx forks and bars have a weight limit lol they are definetly not strong at all. ever held a pear of carbon handlebars? you can flexx them in your hands. hahah yuo obviously dont know anything about metals and shit. and it would be comprimising strength for weight not vise versa.

edit: woops you might have been joking if yuo were then hahah good one :p

dont send anything to me until you go to www.radskootco.tk and actually order somthing but nothign is available yet. i want cary and stan to test the bars for awhile first anyways.

the only way yall will find out is to put it to the test.....but a small piece of carbon fiber and a small piece of steel and see which one bends/snaps quicker with the same amount of weight applied....until then, dont be dissin something that you dont know....thats only directed to the ones that have no idea what theyre talking about....i had auto mechanics and we put carbon fiber and aircraft aluminum to the test and carbon fiber is stronger....

carbon fiber is stiff and has a good strength to weight ratio. but for somthing that takes hits such as a scooter it sucks. carbon fiber is like glass. glass doesnt bend it snaps. and it suddenly snaps without any warning. steel will last forever and is way more reliable and if it does crack it will show signs of stress before it happens. not all steel is the same though steel can be heat treated which will make it stiffer but if it it heat treated too far then its also more likely to crack without warning. ya carbon fiber is strong but it doesnt have the impact strength like steel to be used for scooters.

I've seen so many people snap their Answer race forks at the track without any signs of stress. Carbon fiber shatters, never snaps. I've seen many Answer race forks snap before any sets of 4130 or steel forks even bend. And we're talking top of the line companies/product for both.
