Razor Ultra Pro

ah

i really like this deck. there is a few things i would like to see from razor, but i know they would never happen

4.5 ultra pro.
strip down bottom of deck
some sort of tsi bolt on brake ( to dial it )
a 81.5 deg headtube angle
integrated headset

i would buy one, and alot of other fellow tsi 4.5 riders i feel would aswell

i hear about kids cracking the ultra pros, but i hear way more about kids cracking the regular pros. regardless of how strong the deck is, somebody will always break one. if razor wanted to, im sure they could make a deck as strong as a tsi, but for $150, what person would buy one besides the scooter community? the question isn't how strong is it period, but how strong is it compared to other scooters that razor has made. that's how we can decide if razor really failed or not. and even if the did, don't blame razor for trying. the whole i piece deck and bars is a a big step, so at least give them kudos for that instead of whining about how they could do better. let's see you try to make a scooter that is cheap enough to sell to parents buying presents for their kids, but strong enough for riders like us, then mass producing them for enough people around the nation. that's what i thought. you couldn't.

i HATE the ultra pro. there's less body space on the deck, especially if you ride taller bars. i seriously cant land tricks without landing on the brake. TSI for the win.

if the headtube angle on the ultra pro was steeper, it would be halfway decent.

okay, im fine with you having that opinion, but can you honestly get mad at razor for trying??

yes, because they never take into account what the riders want in a deck. they always just do what they think is good, instead of listening to US and finding out what WE want.

ultra pros are good, but the headtube angle makes me loop out every once in a while, but tsi sucks they always break, my bet is on the lucky deck

I LOVE ULTRA PROS!!!!!!

I am only lke 4'7 and not even 80 pounds so its perfect for me.

I like the wieght and size, and it is strong enough for me so suck it

well your right, it doesn't matter to them, but only because kids buy their scooters anyway. whatever makes them money stays, simple as that. razor is not around to help the scooter scene improve, and they never really were. they are only around to make money, so don't expect them to listen to anything we have to say. and this was to hep greg by the way.

Ok....sooooo I read through this thread and opinions on the Ultra Pro are pretty mixed. I can already throw the regular razor pro around with no problem but I'm a big fan of damn-near-90 degree headtube angles. I've seen photo's and it seem leant back, how far off the 90 is it?

idk

idk how far off but its the angle of a regular bolted pro...I agree w/ Greg, the deck is too small and has no body space, i cant even land a decent 360 on it, it is lighter, but i feel more comfortable on a pro

People people... Here's my review and I am on both sides... good or bad. First off the bars are nice and the grips suck though. If you are a hardcore rider I would suggest putting on your bars cause the normal Ultra Pro bars will break after being thrown around a bit. Second the fork is nice and strong. I don't know anyone that has snapped the fork since it has gussets. Third the deck is sturdy and the grip wears off after about a week. The headtube could be a little steeper, but overall it's a good deck. I agree with it being too small though because my friend always landed on the brake and one day snapped the deck (in half). Lastly the wheels are your same old stock pro model wheels, and the bearings are nice and smooth and fast. The downside is the spacers on the back are plastic so any trick you land hard on they will most likely crack. I have had my Ultra Pro Lo for three days now and I like it and for my skill level I think it's a great buy. Overall I think it's a good scooter IF you use a deck saver and put your own bars on (hint: sell the stock ones) and put your old pro model spacers on the back.

Greatest deck I've ever ridden. i've had it for about a month and 2 weeks and still running. Normal pro decks lasted me forever so I imagine this deck being a runner :)
