If you ride mostly park, get proto grippers
If you ride mostly street get proto sliders or scooterzone twizzlers
If you want something fast get eagle sports
If you want something cheap but good get razor pro model wheels
If you want a crappy front wheel get a yak
If you want wheels that look pretty but suck buy lucky metalcore wheels
If you have no money buy razor pro model wheels and get a job
If you are sketchy as fuck buy something cheap like pro model wheels
If you want colorful wheels buy yak low profiles
If you want something crap and expensive buy most OEM wheels
If you want decent metalcores but your on a budget get the new multi-coloured yak scats
If you want something super-duper fast and you've got game get agent oranges or green machines
If you're a weight freak but want something strong get eagle sport spoked metal cores or blunt polycarbonate wheels
If you're a tight ass and want a warranty get proto wheels
If you like smashing wheels for fun get MGP plastic cores or yak low profiles
If you want decent metalcores on a budget but hate yaks get demon metalcores
If you want to try something made by eagle that not many people have tried, get downside wheels
If you ride a skateboard get hubba wheels
If your ghetto put hot glue in plastic cores

As you can see, pro model wheels appear lots in this list, cause they pretty much kick ass in the world of wheels.
I'm sick of seeing all of these "gripper or slider" threads.

I got myself banned.
If you ride mostly park get eagles or protos
if you ride mostly street get eagles
if you ride mostly flat get eagles
if you want something fast get eagles
if you ride fucking dirt get eagles.
if you dont have enough for eagles, get protos
if you dont have enough for protos get used eagles.
if you dont have enough for used eagles get some normal yak spoked wheels (not metal cores, just the normal red ones) and a job.

Aren't proto's really hard to ovalise? I've ovalised yaks, pro mods and eagles, but they are about the only wheels I have riden

honestly, the newest yak scats are pretty good (colored ones without plastic bearing slots). I have an orange one and a green one, and they are both holding up really well. I love the feel of the urethane.
