I believe in God. And, I believe in Jesus Christ. When you die, if you were good, you go to heavon, if you were bad you go to hell. God isn't a physical being. He's in spirit (in my opinion). i think he created the physical universe. And, how are we here(not us like you and me) like mankind, if someone didn't create us.
these are my views. i have an arguement with my family all the time. first of all i am catholic. my mom is also but my dad is jewish. i was confirmed and all that jazz, so just so you know, im not half jewish...i am completely catholic. although i believe jesus was a person, noone can prove to me that he was a savior and miracle worker although it may be true. to me, the ones who are afraid of death, are the ones who do NOT believe in the afterlife. personally i fear death completey, which is why i dont think about it, because i believe, when you die- thats it, youre dead and you can see, hear or feel anyother being.heaven and hell are ideas of comfort in my eyes which is why i dont believe in them. those who do evil suffer in their own lifeof course. those however who dont fear death are the ones who do believe in heaven, hell and the afterlife. of course there are radicals who believe random things, but personally, religion is just ideas, u can be a part of a religionand have opposing views. it does not make a difference. its like omg your catholic you believe this?! ...no tahts like saying just cus youre black that you are ghetto. doesnt work that way. religion can be stuipd to one and another can live by it. all depends ont he person i am catholic but i dont beleive in everything the bible says, nor do i study up much on it, but i paid all my dues and shit so wahtever

You can belive how Jesus wanted everyone to live thier live with love and stuff, but not be catholic.
I do, I think Jesus's teachings were great and he was a great inspiration to the world, but he sure as hell didn't walk on water or turn water into wine or anything like that.
What I am saying is that if you went to church and told them all your thouhts on religion, they would say it would be unchristian.

no. illness, the earth as the center of the universe, all things said by MAN, not god. things that are NOT in the bible. recently, science has come closer to proving many things in the bible true. the 10 plagues, parting of the red sea, all things that sound impossible right? well they just been basically confirmed to happen through totally natural scientific processes. i believe all miracles can be backed up through science and have a perfectly logical explanation. i also believe, though, that they have their base in god and his divine intervention.
yeah that church sucks, yes they are hypocrits and lie to the people. but what does that have to do with god? theyre works of people, not of god. people are flawed, of course theyre going to mess up. and the church is messing up hardcore right now. but that hasnt altered my faith in god. dont let the mistakes of man interfere with your belief in god.

Its when those people who make mistakes are tied so closely to god when I cringe my teeth. They are made out to be flawless and only do things in gods will... Then you have them raping children... Which is a totally different topic all together.

to this day, day the church is still trying to suppress science. they block many kinds of groundbreaking research like work in stem cell research, which i think is completely moronic. the church has been hindering the work of great science since the renaissance. they put men like galileo on house arrest simply because his ideas were different than theirs.
but back to my main point, these are all faults of men, not god. if you really want to understand christianity without all the bullshit fed to you by the church, read the bible. its that simple. also the old testament has some funny stuff in it about beastiality, check that out.
