Basically im gonna try and stay out of this one as much as possible, but i def like reading everyones opinions...I do believe in god how ever, i do NOT believe that jesus IS god, i believe he is the Son of God, thats basically where i stop...i have found that when i start reading a bible, its hard for me to put down....but i dont consider myself religious, nor do i think i have a certain reliogion...i dunno....oh and if i see anyone starting to fuck this thread up, they will be getting a 48 hour ban....A thread discussing something serious like this, doesnt need to be fucked up by lil kids bitching at eachother about who has the better prayer at night kneeling by there bedside.

i explained to my mother how i don't believe in god / catholic..ism.

its more about like, the science part to me. I think jesus was a real dude, and he was pretty chill, and all the storys were just a bullshit thing made up by a bunch of drunkards at the local pub. I tihnk jesus was told by his mother ( who i think, was your average day "ho"), that he was gods son. I think missus mary had a little bit too much to drink at the pub, and passed out, and got taken advantage of by 2 guys in a van...horse carriage. She woke up the next day with a very sore butthole, and when she found out she was pregnant and didn't remember getting pounded, the drunkards were like "OMG ITS TOTALLY GODS CHILD. JJJJJJJJJJJJEEEEEEEEEEEZUUUUUS <333

.thats how christianity began...in my opinion.

i personally believe when we die its sleep without a dream.

i beleive that Jesus was once a person, I'm not sure about the God part though. I used to go to church 3 times a week because i went to a Catholic school, and we had around an hour or so each day of school dedicated to learning about God. I learned some pretty interesting stuff.

I dont believe in something like life after death, but I beleive we are re-born as another person with no memory of past lives or anything else

i believe exactly what matt ogle does or something very very close to it, Jesus Christ was the son of God in my opinion and what the Bible says about him is fact. not to preach or anything but you guys who said Jesus was just some chill dude with good lessons and whatnot seem to have a condradictory point i think. to me He had to be either a liar, crazy buffoon, or who He said He was, if he was a "good man" but claimed He was the son of God he's gotta be in one of those categories...

ive gone to church just about every week all my life, my youth groups fun and theres some awesome people there and i like riding scooters a lot too = )

I think Jesus was a chill dude with good lessons and whatnot haha, but I don't think he died for our sins and all that stuff.

I'm an Athiest and I almost couldn't spell that. I just don't really care that much because I have other things to worry about, once I die I'll be dead and it won't really matter anymore so I don't want to waste my time with all this stuff.

Edit: To the post that was directed to me "So what do you belive in" my awnser is nothing. I beive in cold hard facts. ALHOUGH Darwin threoy of eveolution isnt a fact, it makes more sence to me then a higher power cunjing a man then riping out one of his ribs and making a woman. If thats how people started (Im sorry that I really dont know much about it all, please correct me) Im not sure if they had a kid orr not? Wernt they killed my a snake the temped them to eat an apple?

gah, i hate it when people use the term "atheist", everytime i hear it i tihnk about little kids that go to the mall and wear good charlotte t-shirts and atreyu hoodies.

pretty much the conclusion that with the amazing complexion of life around us, the only rational explanation is there has to be some higher intelligence behind it, the human eye or cell for example are just so complex it seems (to me at least) ridiculous that they could have just been jumbled together and formed or happened by chance.

edit again- sean, you believe in intelligent design, which i thought was just evolution, but it isnt, intelligent design is beliving in adam and eve, get it right please, thats just bs to me.
