even if you got it modified off inward?? i got the same thing and the spring wouldnt fit.

ohh i know what you're saying now. well you should use a spring that it came with but if you got JUST the brake with no spring (like i did) then its a bitch to get in and out. what i did was put the spring clamped down in a vice over night and when i took it out the next morning it was a lot more loose. you have to find some way to get the spring loose before putting the brake in, or, get a looser spring somewhere.

now that this is stickied, im wondering how many views it will get considering the YOUR SCOOTER thread, and PROTO SCOOTERS thread isn't stickied.

DISTRICT SHOULD MAKE ANOTHER DESIGN OF THE DECK WHERE IT'S BEEFIER/THICKER AND WEIGHS A GOOD BIT MORE. I along with other people think the deck is too light, and if it's already that light, why not add some weight and make it even stronger.

i would highly suggest not arguing with greg roflll.. examples of the past two convos i had with greg..

1:
me: hey check out my set up...( i sent him this http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u198/skoot4life55/WOWtsi-1-1.jpg ) greg: is that a lucky fork on your tsi? your stupid thats unbalanced

2:
me: hey man i just sold my tsi for a lucky deck... greg: eww your stupid

rofl anything he thinks is wrong means its wrong in his eyes. like the lucky fork on my tsi was great bc the knuckle balanced out the weight but nooo i know nothing and greg knows all..

and everyone should remember that lolol.. dont argue with greg he wont give in

dmazz maybe greg just doesnt like u

they should make a light and heavy deck, but if i had to pick one it would be the light deck, it gives more oppurtunities to add heavier parts, like SCS or nice and heavy forks. decks should be light, but it wouldnt hurt if district made a heavy/strong option for their deck

soo what if it's light? i'm not a weight freak at all, but idc if my parts are light lol. i'm sure it's really strong, just watch some of the vids of riders testing it.

you don't have to be a weight freak to think something is too light, but some people don't like the feeling of whipping a feather around. Also, all I'm saying is they could make an alternative model with more weight to it to make it even stronger and it could be for the people that don't want to ride nunchuck decks

it doesnt feel like a nunchuck deck. it feels really good... and i switched from a TSI. the balance of the deck feels perfect, so the weight doesnt come into play when you whip it.

I'm also not as confident riding a (2.2? I don't know the exact weight) deck as I would 3.5 pound. Though quality obviously comes in to play, more material doesn't automatically make something better. Sure they may be cheap, so i guess thats a fine excuse, but I want my deck to last a longgg time. Maybe the design and the welds are perfect, I just don't see why not have a light version, and and a standard version. I absolutely hate the lightness of the ultra pro, and I'm not comparing the ultra pro to the district deck at all. Its not just whips, it's just the feeling. I can get used to awkward whips and hops, and I may not even have to with the district. I'd just feel a whole lot better buying it, if it was beefier than it is now. I'm not just worrying about the weight feeling I'm also worrying about the quality due to the weight.
